Great bookcase, poor customer service
I love the bookcase, however, Overstock's customer service leaves much to be desired. On the day I was to receive it it hadn't even shipped yet. I didn't receive any notification from them as to the delay and they said they couldn't tell me when it would ship. I canceled it after arguing with the customer representative that I did not want to just return it. I received it anyways after I ordered one somewhere else and it had already arrived. It is going to cost $85 to return it. I will never order from overstock again.

This is a beautiful shelving unit for the money - looks expensive.
Everything came in good condition. The instructions were a bit tricky to understand. I had to use my own common sense to put together the shelf but besides that, I love the way it looks in my house!

The end product is lovely. The packaging was a bit of a shuffle. Two parts were mislabeled, the styrofoam is crazy messy, and the stickers labeling the pieces are a nightmare to remove (about 10 of them). The shelf is sturdy, the metal is nice and appropriate thickness, the glass shelves are nice tempered and beveled. The gold/brass color is just as pictured. Works great in my space.
