Retured made of wood. Not practical
Poor quality. Misleading sizing.
They assemble by cheap plastic rod with a soft metal head inserted on one end into a plastic receiver, and on the other in a VERY cheap locking barrel. I bought 2, and in both instances some plastic receivers were missing and the cheap locking barrels were so bad several were crushed and unusable. I ended up having to use wood screws to secure some boards. Also 29.92" measurement doesn't account for loss of 1.5" lip around the top, which caused this to be too small for Kenmore Elite washer.
Solid Wood Material
These Washer Dryer pedestal works great for me and I am pleased that I made this purchase, assembly instructions were clear and simple.

It is an 1”m 1/2” bigger due to trim. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL

DO NOT PURCHASE
I would NOT recommend these pedestals. The paint flaked off when moved around on the carpet. I had wood dowels break off. I needed to remove one of the metal pieces that's job is to hold it together and it was bent. At that point I did not feel like I could trust that it would hold together with a shaking washing machine on it. I called to see about retuning, if not both at least the one still in the box. I was told the return window was 48 hours! Are you kidding me?!?
Really nice pedestal...was difficult for my handiman to assemble.
Do not buy
Terrible quality. Does not meet the bare minimum requirements needed. I took my time building it, followed instructions perfectly. Sure it looks good, but it is not usable. Washing machine shakes and wobbles. I spent plenty of time leveling everything. Its all leveled perfectly. But the structure itself is just not sturdy. DO NOT BUY. Unable to return this. Wasted $250 dollars.
Where is the customer service???
Ordered this 2pk, received only one. I have not received my full order and have yet to hear from the market seller about this. Overstock advised in two occasions I should hear from the seller, still nothing. At this time, I would say avoid this item.
