My toaster is beautiful and it’s so precious. I don’t even want to use it. I have the microwave from Hayden the coffee pot. I’m going to get another piece of it soon. I love my Hayden appliances. They are just great color the mat Black  with copper labs they are bats beautifully with my  copper pots and pans everything is just beautiful in my kitchen thanks to Hayden and WayFair

More than just a pretty toaster

Threw out my 20 year old toaster ( not because it quit working but because it was showing its age) and bought this beauty. It does everything it’s supposed to do, makes great toast, no areas of untoasted bread and tastes yummy. I read some reviews saying it would lean forward when putting down the lever and it does if you slam the lever down but if you just press it down it is not a problem .

Not a good toaster

I saw this toaster and thought it looked cute and retro, so decided to get it and upgrade our current toaster. Boy was that a mistake. Even at the highest setting, this toaster (and I use that term loosely) barely toasts a bagel, English muffin or bread. It takes at least 2 times to get a good toasted color. Really would have expected better quality from container store for the price. Very disappointed.

Disappointed

Purchased this toaster July 14. Loved the look but after limited use (just two adults) the toasting lever on the RIGHT side does not stay down so the toaster does not stay on. Fortunately, it has a manufacturer's one year warranty. Unfortunately, when the company was contacted with a copy of the receipt attached, we were informed that a short video describing the problem was required as well as a picture of the bottom numbers ensuring that they were legible. Then after proper assessment, (5 to 7 days) if the return was justified it would be at our cost to ship the defective item back to the company. Really? I think it would be easier to buy a new toaster from a different company.

Haden Heritage 4 slice toaster

I just ordered this toaster! I had already purchased the Igloo Water cooler and LOVE the retro design, so I had to get this too! It came in a short time and it's SO pretty! Prettier in person I think! I JUST love it! SO retro style it is! I like the options of bagel or toast too! LOVE THIS!

Beautiful

One would think if both pairs of slots were on the same setting, they would cook the same amount of time: not so. And it does take longer to toast than our old Kenmore. But, we have made adjustments. It toasts evenly. And I really do like the slot widths: adjustable grates to accommodate the size of product you put in it.

Do not bother ordering this

I bought this a month ago and it does not toast both sides of the bread and it pops right after you push the toast down. AND the manufacturer does not let you return if the box is opened???? Only a 30 day window to return an unopened box. How are you supposed to know if it functions properly if you don’t open the box and plug it in? I will never buy a Haden appliance again. At least after a few calls Joann gave me a refund.

Product NOGOOD. COMPANY WORSe

I recently bought a kettle that cost 130 dollars shortly after the bottom fell out of it I made a complaint and they didn’t respond. Now they have completely blocked me not giving me a refund.

Garbage Toaster

I loved the look of the Haden retro toaster, and despite mixed reviews I purchased it anyway. Never toasted an english muffin with just one set, more like 1.5. But I kept it anyway. Now it’s been less than a year and it has stopped working completely. Checked into the warranty and realized it’s a 30 day limited warranty. Seriously??? I’ll certainly check the warranty on the next toaster I buy because a 30 day warranty tells me the product is garbage. Lesson learned! My old Black and Decker toaster was on its 5th year before it quit. Would love it if the reliable toaster makers would have some design choices though…

A feel good item.

I bought this toaster for the aesthetic. I don't always need the four slices of bread. It is pretty straight forward. There are blue lights that turn on while in use. It's beautiful and easy to clean. The copper aesthetic is closer to rose gold than just "gold." It's a straightforward machine that can toast up to four slices of bread but looks expensive. I hope it lasts a long time and continues to work perfectly. Dial to 4 or 6 for dark toast.

Do not just buy this toaster because of its look.

Unfortunately, all I can say is that this toaster is a piece of garbage. After I used it for a few months, the 2nd slot from the left did not work because an electrical coil inside the slot snapped apart. I contacted "Crate and Barrel" for a replacement. Surprisingly, the replacement did not work properly either after only a couple of months. The exact same slot (the 2nd slot from the left side) overheated and started generating smoke right away, although the darkness setting was only at "1". It almost caught on fire in my kitchen. Can you imagine that you can burn down your kitchen with a malfunctioning toaster? So, I contacted a customer service representative to replace my toaster with a different brand. They wanted me to send the trashy toaster back instead of giving me an immediate refund to my credit card. The issue of this toaster was brought up by many customers. I cannot understand why this toaster still has the same problem and "Crate and Barrel" is still selling it to customers. The manufacturer should take the issue more seriously and fix the problem.

It looks so good

It looks so good next to my gray tiled backsplash. It adds the perfect pop of light cream color - Like a marshmallow. It toasts bagels and bread very nicely. The first trial runs we did without bread. It didn’t smell at all.

Amazing

I’m so pleased I purchased this, it’s such good quality and looks so stylish! I was going to initially purchase another brand which is known to be super fashionable, however I couldn’t bring myself to pay what they were asking (for the price I paid for this and the matching kettle wasn’t even half the price of the other kettle). So I searched and searched everywhere for a white kettle and toaster and found this and I am in love!! The delivery was super quick also which was excellent as I was moving into my new house in only a few days. The pictures look like it’s an off white colour so I was a little nervous about that, but I can ensure you it is white in colour. As mentioned above I got the matching kettle and they look great together, however you could mix and match with other colours too. I’m so glad I didn’t purchase the other set because I’m now so much more in love with this! I would honestly say don’t hesitate in buying this, I’m thee most picky person but you definitely won’t regret getting this.
