This is an attractive modern rug. It's definitely soft and smooth. However, it is not the Viscose material as it is advertised. This is a fully wool rug, which makes the pile average. I would have liked the texture of the viscose, hence the 3/5 stars. Still it is soft and contrasts well in the room. The pattern is modern, but it looks 'manufactured'....less natural. So again the 3/5.

Cannot recommend this rug. Really nice look, colors, feel to the rug. But it came with a strong musty smell. I called about getting it cleaned, but was told that viscose is not easily cleaned, like wool or cotton. So I will stay away from viscose. Overstock was great and took the rug back due to the odor.
