Not exactly what I was expecting but I’m enjoying this rug. I must be careful when vacuuming near the fringe because it does get hung in the vacuum. Otherwise, no problems at all.

Great rug, but with a flaw (depending on POV)

Like this rug a lot. Feels nice on the feet, looks good and no new smell issues. However, it has a flaw, that I deducted a star for. The fringe around the rug is cut denim. And the parts we checked there was no fray check or seam sealant type chemicals used. So, they will fray badly with use over time. How long, I am unsure. But vacuuming and general wear and tear will take a toll. Now, this is a minor issue, and can be taken care of relatively simply, though it will be tedious, by applying the fray stop yourself. Or, when they start to get a bit to frayed, simply trimming them off will fix this issue as well.

Update to review- the ripples are still there and are somewhat of a tripping hazard. So annoying. The ripples are from how the jute is sewn with the fabric- cannot be pulled flat. Boo. Still pretty but would not have spent so much for this. (First impression) I got the 8x8 ivory/light beige and love it! So versatile. It’s packaged too tight to not cut along the plastic like they tell you specifically not to and was oddly damp—but not damaged. The ripples when first laid out are a bit of a tripping hazard but it seems they will flatten out as the fabric acclimates- hopefully! Nice quality. My dog approves!

I purchased the beige Cape Cod 5’ round for my foyer and I absolutely love it! Looks amazing in my century old farmhouse. I had purchased the same rug in a 4’ size but it was too small for the foyer so I put it in my upstairs landing area. When you look down the stairs from the top floor the two common areas areas are cohesive with these rugs. It gives a very cozy feel. Not overly “loud” in color but enough to brighten up the look and make it fun. Well made and durable.

It appears to be made well, considering the inexpensive cost. Unfortunately, the rug is less attractive in person, the colors are not as subtle. The fridge looks as if they pieced together unwanted fabrics from the 2005 clothing collection of Gymboree and the measurements are slightly smaller than what is provided in the 'details'. Now I have to figure out what to do with it, since Overstock.com won't provide complimentary returns.

This purchase was completely out of my comfort zone!! It’s so different from my normal taste. It shipped super fast! I absolutely love it!! I put it under my kitchen table to help hide some of the mess my children make! Not to mention, my girls love the colors too! Great quality! Fun colors! My only regret is not ordering the larger size. The tassels count as the outside measurements!!

This is a cute rag-style round rug. The weave is tight and it laid flat right away. Upon arrival there was a noticeable earthy scent from the cotton & jute, but it disappeared in a couple days. My only disappointment is that the measurement is just under 36-inches including the fringe on both sides. While that might not matter to you, I’m still trying to decide whether I’ll cut down my 3-ft round rug pad or purchase another rug. It’s a cute rug for the price.
