I purchased two of these

I purchased two of these rugs for adjoining rooms. I purchased them specifically for Spring and Summer months when I want lighter colors as decor. These rugs are beautiful over white marble tile. The color was exactly what I wanted. I was very pleased to be able to order these rugs in different sizes. The selection fit exactly what I needed. It was so easy to order and my order was shipped quickly and without damage.

Awesome Rug

Great way to update the family room. Neutral colors and matches the decor perfectly. The quality is great and the price is awesome too. Looks like it should have cost more than it did. Will definitely recommend to friends looking to update their rooms.

The rug looks as pictured and is soft. However, there are a few problems with the rug. I would not recommend this rug for the following reasons: it is light weight so the ends curl up and do not lay flat. There are also many ripples in the rug from when it was rolled up tightly from shipping that do not come out. I bought this rug in January and about two months later in March I am reviewing this. It is still curled up. We have put many heavy objects on the rug (for days at a time) to try to help it lay flat. It has not helped. There is no way to fix this issue that I know of. It also slides around on a wood floor because of its light weight.

This is rug #2 we just moved to a new home and our entry needed a second rug so I was very happy that they were still in stock! Comes nicely packaged and just love the print…would look great for many design styles. Takes a few days to lay flat and a rug pad is recommended. Thin pile but is great for where I am using it.

We thought the shedding would eventually stop

We've had this rug for 6 months and obviously it's too late to return it. We thought the shedding would eventually stop. We were so wrong, the little fuzzy hairs are all over our house! It's cute but the shedding is unbearable and we had to throw it away. What an absolute waste of fiber!

Very Low quality rug , but it was expected at...

Very Low quality rug , but it was expected at the price point. Even with the rug rolled, there were still creases which caused the backing to crack and create a hole in the rug. It was going under a bed so I ignored it as that part wont be seen, and I don't see this rug lasting more than 1-2 years anyways. The material sheds non stop and will be all over your socks/clothes and throughout the house. Would not recommend this rug unless someone is looking for a cheap temporary option

This rug came quickly and arrived in good condition. It was folded and creased. The instructions said to roll it for 24-48 hours. After we did all that we laid it under our dining table on a tile floor in Florida. It is very wrinkled, not lying flat. We left Florida and will return next winter. I hope it flattens out by then. The background is creamy, not white. It looks very much like the photos. Good enough for an under table rug.

soft and trendy

Love this area rug. Its always hard to buy a rug (or any upholstery) online because you aren't sure if it will be soft or coarse. This is so soft and we bought the off white with hints of blue and pink. Its great! You will definitely need a rug pad / nonslip treads if using on hardwood. And it took several days for it to fully lie flat. But now we love it. We are using it as a entryway runner and it is great!

A very poor quality product. The shag sheds and gets on my house slippers, hardwood and other rugs even though I have vacuumed it often. It picks up this fine thread fluff and transfers it everywhere. The jute backing is both thin and brittle enough to bend in an even manner to the exact size of the space it is in. The rug was originally too large for the area. Also the shag was long and uneven all over that I took scissors and actually cut long strands throughout the rug to make even with the other areas of rug. I even hand picked thread strands off the jute backing because the vacuum would not pick up the wispy light weight threads/fluff. I finished making the rug into a final item to sell and place on a floor. I am sad that i had to spend both time and money on something so worthless. Luckily I don’t walk on it much and it is in an area I can avoid walking on. Even with that said, I do not see it lasting a year or something to pass on to someone else. They would find it irritating due to the ease of transferring white thread fluff onto other areas of the house and has to be hand picked off other rugs/carpet or swept up off hardwood.

I’ve purchased several Safavieh shag rugs from Overstock, and they never disappoint! My preference is for their shag rugs due to comfort, however we needed a lower pile option for our new living room and decided on this one. As with the other Safavieh rugs we’ve purchased, this one seemed very well made.

Rug Has A Potent Chemical Smell

This rug is cute BUT the smell of it is awful. It has the moat horrific chemical smell to it. I had a hard time sleeping in the room with it the first night. And one week later, it is still smelly. The Overstock policy is you can return it if it is unopened. I don’t know how one can know that the rug smells this way without opening the package. There is no way someone along the way didn’t know this rug smells this way. After the fact, I saw another review about the rug having an awful chemical smell. Don’t buy it unless you have a love for smelling strong chemicals.

Perfect color & never go wrong by choosing Safavieh brands. Excellent quality & bought for my daughter home’s office, she loved very much, like the feeling of walking barefoot & don’t shreds while vacuuming. All’s of Safavieh’s products are superior quality’s. Was received prior to schedule date. Overstock does a excellent job to deliver & giving the best quality.

This rug is incredibly large and has so many different patterns that it’s actually very interesting. I’ve never had a rug that’s been interesting. 😊. I have it in a guest room over the wood floor and it’s so comfortable walking on it with bare feet. The only problem I have yet I’ll find a solution is that one corner won’t stay down. Dang it!!!!but I’d buy it over and over again. It’s a beautiful rug.

Completely obsessed with this rug. I purchased a 45in round table and knew I wanted a rug underneath. I was going to purchase the 6foot Rug but after researching I found that a eight foot rug would be best for the size table I have. I wish someone would’ve told me that a six foot would be too small because the chairs would be hanging over and I didn’t want that. I am sooooooo glad I purchased the larger size. I’m still waiting on my chairs and just moved in so excuse my mess lol. But the rug is so beautiful and definitely well made. So happy with my purchase. Hoping to find another one just like this that’s for outdoor use for my patio. Thank you overstock

Pretty rug/little short in size

Pretty rug. Definitely Cannot keep on a hardwood floor without a rug pad,rug isn’t heavy enough not to slip everywhere roughly about 27-30lb. I ordered a 8x10 and it’s about 5/6 inches short on each side. I sent the first rug back due to the fact it had HUGE creases in it (Grand Canyon of creases!) the rug was folded and then rolled. The gentlemen I spoke to at Overstock CS was WONDERFUL! He assured me that everything would be taken care of and my replacement rug was on the way. So, this is my 2nd attempt to get this rug so even with the minor issues I’m not sending this one back due to the fact it took a while to get the replacement (no fault of Overstock, FedEx is terrible!!). Overall I am happy with the rug, I’m currently giving it time to rest and get the “bumps” out before I put the rug pad under it.

Shedding is Unmanageable

This rug looks and feels beautiful - but the quality is terrible. Not worth it! The pile falls out and sticks to your socks, slippers, and shoes just from walking on it and it tracks threads all over the house. They even were getting stuck on my welcome mat outside, that's how badly these things shed. You can't even vacuum them as the threads clog the vacuum. I wish this was made better as it looks beautiful but don't be fooled! I had 2 of them and I had to give them away as they just aren't livable.

Take it from me.

This rug looks very pretty and lush and does make the space look nice. However it sheds SO BAD! There is pieces of the rug EVERYWHERE! All throughout the entire house, yard, on our clothes, stuck to our shoes, stuck in the dogs paws, its horrible! It looks so soft but actually there is no padding to it whatsoever. Pretty but that's it.. I would not recommend it.

Pros: -Decent quality rug for the price. Fairly soft with some padding. -Design is very neutral. Cons: -This has been off gassing for a couple of weeks now. It’s not the original slap in the face overwhelming smell that it was for the first week but I have had a HEPA air purifier running 24/7 in that room and have been opening the window as much as possible. I would not buy it again knowing this

Bad smell! The rug was delivered quickly, my husbad rolled It out and when I got home from work that evening It smelled like old moldy carpet in my house. We had to roll It back up and put in the garage It was so bad.. we could not see anything on the carpet. We called overstock and they sent another one out to us and we sent the other one back. The second one smelled bad also.. not nearly as bad but definitely an odd smell.. weve had windows open hoping It airs out. Wonder if its whatever chemicals they use on the carpets. The carpet looks as pictured but i dont think i would order another rug from here.
