Comes with free bed bugs

It came new and shrink wrapped but unfortunately, I realized it was infested with bed bugs and another variety or 2 after 1 night of having this rug in my bedroom. How can this be for a brand new rug? I've never had bed bugs before this. this is a nightmare.

Great rug for the money

This rug isn’t true 8x8. It’s slightly smaller but it’s true to picture shown. Great value for the money. I did purchase pad to go underneath it.

Stiff, creased, does not lay flat, chemical odor

Arrived on time. It is folded in the package, not rolled. Heavy creases do not lay flat--wrinkled/creased. Has a chemical odor, shedding.

I really like the simple diamond pattern and the navy and just off white with some lighter blues in the background. Very pretty and I also like the feel of it. It is cushy and well made.

I had ordered 3 rugs like this before. They were just too big. I returned one but continued to use the other two until I just could not stand it any more. So I ordered the smallest size and I am very pleased with them. I love the color and design of the rugs. You make it so easy to return items. I love Wayfair.

Such an incredible rug! I just moved into a new apartment and started looking for rugs. I never realized how stressful finding a good area rug was my roommate and I were starting to lose hope and then at the very last second we found this rug it is incredibly soft and such a beautiful color, it brightens up our living room and makes it look so much bigger. The delivery was super fast as well. It definitely takes some time for all of the wrinkles to relax out of the rug. We’ve had it for about two weeks now and there’s still some areas that need to settle down, however it still looks incredible and is such a unique design.

Very pretty rug. Gives my office some pizzaz however it’s so wrinkled. I don’t have enough weights to put down. I hope it eventually settles. Bought other rugs from here. Typically it’s the ends that are curled up. This is all over!

Wrinkles...

It's been a while and the wrinkles are still very much present. Does not lay flat. I will have to steam the 10x14 rug with a wrung out towel and a steam iron - very carefully. I have had another rug from this company for several years - not that big - but every move puts wrinkles into it. In 2-3 days they have always been gone. A little disappointed in that.

Chemical smell

The runner I order had a very bad chemical smell. Smelled came from the backing of the rug. Like the material the manufacturer used. Just awful. I had to return runner. I ordered the round version of the same rug. No smell was detected. I read they inspect your returns, so do the smell them also? I'm waiting for my refund.

Safavieh Abstract Faded Area Rug 3X5

This is a very nice nice carpet. The color goes from darker on one end to lighter on the other, mixed with a light beige, not solid and not a stripe. The color matches the background color of my couch. It looks nice against my wood floor and brings brightness to the living room. I did put a quarter inch carpet pad under it which gives the carpet a little more thickness and keeps it from moving as it is not non skid. I'm very happy with the carpet!

I am a Persian rug fan, with 2 wool and 2 polypropylene ones in other rooms in the house. But I decided to go more contemporary in my master bedroom. The pattern on this rug is very subtle. The beige swirls almost disappear into the cream background, especially depending on the direction the fibers are vacuumed. I was happy to get an 8x10 rug for under $150, but it is definitely lower quality than my Persian Safavieh polypropylene rug. It’s like a very thin piece of wall to wall carpeting that’s bound. But I wasn’t ordering a wool-silk Persian rug for thousands of dollars, so I am not surprised or disappointed. Just know that it is a budget quality rug. It is very thin, so you may want to use a rug pad to give the illusion of more plushness. If you have one already, I’d say. If you would need to buy a rug pad too, you might just step up to nicer quality rug. But the color coordinates well with my drapes and the pattern works in the room, so I’m keeping it. I may upgrade at some point in the future. Or not. Overall, as long as you have proper expectations based on the price point, I think it’s a pleasing rug.

I looked everywhere for just this rug in mind. I thought it didn’t exist! But I kept searching . Then someone told me about Houzz site. Not only did I find the right rug the right materials I found it in the size 3 feet by five feet! I placed my order and Houzz shipped to CANADA! Thanks Houzz the shopping experience was trouble free! It arrived before said date again thank you. I’ll check your site from now on before I go hunting again for what I need.

Bold print

I needed a bedroom area rug that would add a pop of color to my mostly espresso wood colored bedroom and it definitely does the trick. Very beautiful if you like floral print. I'm very happy with it. It's very comfortable on my feet. I always order this brand for every area rug I have in my home, but one. They have all been very durable throughout the years, so I'm sure this one will be as well. The print isn't too busy looking, but the flowers are large and some of them are very dark, almost black. It is also the type of print that will easily hide small stands if any appear from kids. I am very happy I chose this rug, it definitely goes well in a bedroom.

This rug came to us damaged. Houzz would not take responsibility. They had to contact the seller who had to contact the manufacturer. The seller said they could not replace the rug as they all look like this. How can they sell a rug with white blotches and loose fibers. The seller, Rug Hut, finally authorized a return but would not pay for the return freight. We have been in continuous communication with Houzz to resolve this issue as we should not have to pay to return damaged goods. We are awaiting their response..

Colors are exactly as shown. Came very well packaged. However, it was rolled up so tightly that even after 2 months and the placement of heavy items along corners, the edges still roll up and rug does not lay perfectly flat. The price was terrific. There is a strong odor that comes from the rug..which is slowly dissipating but because it's winter and windows remain closed, the smell still lingers. The backing is slippery, so unless you have furniture on top of it's edges, you must get an anti slip mat to keep rug in place.

Great colors and accent rug

I really love the colors and style of this accent rug. I ordered the 6 x 6 ft size to add some color to my guest room. It looks great. The rug itself is thin so I purchased a rug pad to go underneath. The rug however is very soft. My only complaint is that the rug had a slight chemical smell when first unwrapping it. I laid it out to flatten and air out and the smell quickly disapated. It could have been due to being wrapped in plastic. But overall I am extremely happy with my new rug. The colors of the flowers are a very deep purple (which is just what I was looking for) and a little bit of mauve. The rest of the rug is a slightly off white. It's got a very bright and clean look. I love it and for the price you can't beat it.

Very nice colors and accent rug

This rug is even nicer than the pictures show. I was looking for an accent rug for my guest bedroom with some deep plum colors and this rug is perfect. I ordered the size 6' x 6'. The rug itself is not very thick, but for the price I wasn't expecting it to be. It arrived very securely rolled and packaged. After 3 days of laying it out with some books to help, it completely flattened. The color says "ivory" but it is more close to off white. The flowers are a true dark plum and have a lighter mauve color around them. Overall, I am very happy with the look of this rug and with Hayneedle !
