best ever

i love this rug so much this is my second time buying it because the quality its everything. I want to get another one for my bedroom now.

Not at all what I expected. The description stated that the rug was 1.2 inches thick. It was barely half an inch. To say the least I was very disappointed.

I love this rug. It goes great in my son's room. He has an adventure/woodland animals/arrows type theme. We have had it for over four years and it still looks great! It is a true gray. We do have a rug pad under it

The rug arrived ahead of schedule-yay! Love the color, it's going to be perfect in our space. We're following the enclosed instructions about rolling it and letting it sit for 24-48 then vacuuming it. I have purchased several Safavieh products over the years and find their products to hold up over time. I think we will be happy with this purchase for a long time. Thanks to Overstock for providing affordable items with free shipping, it really makes a difference..

This rug is soft and has brightened up the room. It looks exactly as pictured. It's got a nice pile height and has been easy to keep clean. I'd recommend this if you're looking for a modern rug that will make your room look more open!

very nice and would recommend

This rug is just what I needed for my spare bedroom. Its not too shaggy but not thin either. It took quite a while to find the right one. So many to choose from. Overstock is a great place to shop. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it took some time to get it to lay flat.

It gave my room a modern update.

I was looking for a new area rug in an effort to lighten up a dark space and this definitely fit the bill. The design is asymmetric, which I liked in the picture but it looks even better in person. It is cream (not white) and light grey. Very nice. Good purchase and good value for the price.

This rug is just as pictured. It has a nice cozy shag feel without looking sloppy. The beige tends to a grey and the background is a light cream. It pulls my office together providing a warm space to meet with clients while still looking professional. The shag has held up well to daily use in a sitting area without looking worn or dirty. I'm planning to purchase again for my bedroom. Beautiful rug in an on-trend style at a great price point.

Awful rug

This is my 3rd rug I ordered from overstock and it's simply awful. The first two are soft and lovely, and this one looks like absolute ***. It was folded for transport instead of rolled, so it doesn't lay flat. It's also not soft and terrible quality. The off white has a weird sheen which makes it look very low quality. It looks nothing like the pictures which make it seem plush and soft. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm so unhappy with this order.

I would purchase this again.

It did match what I saw online. I feel it was not quite as high quality as I had expected, but I do like the rug very much. The color was perfect in my room where it's being used. It only took 24 hours for the rug to settle and become flat after shipping so that was great. I was concerned about that when I first opened it. I would purchase this again to replace it in the future. Very nice rug for the price.

Exactly as pictured.

Colors are ivory and a combination of grey/beige for the pattern. Rug flattened out nicely and seems of good quality. Rug pad would be nice as it feels "thin", but this is in my home office with very little traffic so didn't opt for one. Fibers are very soft and fluff back up after my chair rolling around on them. Design is great. Four stars for synthetic material, would have preferred wool and less shagginess. Would certainly recommend.

Love the look and feel of this rug. It is definitely shaggy, but not overly shaggy. We ordered the ivory and beige 6x9, although it does look more like ivory and grey. Very similar to the picture. It's still very large and can fit a decent sized living room, so we definitely saved ourselves a few bucks, since we ordered 8x10 rug last time. When we first laid it, it still had a few lumps from having been rolled up, but the lumps are already starting to flatten & become unnoticeable. We really like this so far. We have a golden retriever pup & 2 kids, so based on other reviews, it should be fine with pet hair!

Very pretty rug

We are very happy with this rug. It compliments the cool gray on our bedroom walls very well. The rug has a soft look, but it is actually not on the super soft side. It is also kinda thin. But for the price and look, we are happy with it. I would recommend adding a rug pad underneath to give it a bit more cushion. This is an 8 x 10 in front of a king size bed in case you are wondering how it would fit in a bedroom.

Dingy, dirty looking, gray not beige, and cheap

The rug is marketed as ivory and beige, but it is really ivory and gray. Although it's new, it has a dirty, dingy look. The quality is also really cheap for a shag rug. You can easily see the backing of the rug when you brush your fingers along the shag. Buy something else. Oh... and the return cost is almost as the rug so it's not even worth returning. Dropping it off at the donation bin. What a disappointment.

Love the pattern!!!

I love this rug. As soon as I saw it I knew it was "The One" and when it arrived it didn't disappoint! I have several other rigs with bold geometric lines and wanted something a little softer. I'd ordered another entry rug with subtle lines, but they ended up being barely visible from some angles. This one is perfect, subtle but not too much, dark enough to stand out but I love the broken pattern of the lines. The rug arrived on time and in great condition. Didn't have any odors or hard creasing. Very happy with this purchase.

I rarely write reviews but I had to rave about this rug. I originally purchased this rug in 2018. I loved the neutral colors and simplistic design. It spruces up our living room without overpowering it. Fast forward a year and half later, the rug still looks great and is holding up nicely. You may be wondering what the but is... my dog was sprayed by a skunk and my husband decided to let her into the house. After a freshly skunk sprayed dog rolls around on the rug there is no coming back. I was so happy to find this rug still in stock. The delivery was quick. The packaging was sturdy yet easy to handle. Once rolled out it only took a few hours and one pass of the vacuum to flatten out. The original rug has been victim of a few spills and puppy pee accidents but if they are treated right away they are hardly noticeable. I purchased the 6'7"x9'2" ivory/beige option.

I waited a couple months till I wrote a review for this rug so that it was completely accurate. The rug was great for about 3-4 months, but then after having it in a high traffic area the rug fibers started to become matted (corners, foot indents up the middle of the rug). Once that happens there's no going back. I've had it professionally cleaned. I've also cleaned it by hand. It always looks rejuvenated immediately afterwards but then once you start walking on the rug again, its matted, again. This is a great rug if used in an area with less traffic. Hope this helps someone.

Pleasantly Surprised.

Great rug. I recently purchased a new sectional that is quite a bit longer than my old couch. My old area rug was about the length of my old sofa as well, so it wasn't going to work. The 10 x 14 fits the extra long length of my new couch, and can fit my side chairs on it as well. Previously my side chairs sat on the hard wood at the edge of my rug so only my feet would be on the rug. Now they all fit and my living room looks so much bigger!! The colors are a bit more on the cool gray side, where on my monitor they seemed a warm gray, but that is ok because it matches my lamps and colors in my artwork. It feels very soft under foot to me. Great for when you just throw a pillow on the floor and lay down, or get down on the floor to play games with the kids. Not a whole lot of traffic in my living room, so I feel it will stay soft and nice for a while longer than with any normal wear, tear, and traffic.

True to color and pattern, pulls my living room together nicely. My only complaint is that even after a couple of weeks the rug has still not flattened out. There still some lumps from being rolled up. With time I hope it relaxes like others I have bought in the past.

This Safavieh shag rug is not the shag I was hoping for, I wanted a shorter thick and plush shag and the length of these fibers was long and very thinly woven into the mat. Thin meaning 1/3 to a 1/4 number of fibers per square inch as my previous Safavieh shag rug. After only 3 days I decided I could not keep it and be happy with it. I researched for nearly 10-12 hours in the course of a week in search of the right rug for our concrete stained floors and this one isn't it. Thank you overstock for an affordable return label!
