Looks terrific. It’s very plush, and heavy weight. Guests have commented on how great it looks. It makes an otherwise plain looking hallway feel complete. We hung a new abstract painting on the hallway wall and with the rug it feels like a total makeover even though it was very simple.

Dimensions not as described- 6 sq ft short

Low odor (not noticeable after a week); no- shedding wool and cotton blend; not true to size description (stated 108"x144" v. actual 101"x145"). Had to rearrange living room to accomodate this heavyweight rug, would have returned it because of the size discrepancy but too much for me as a petite senior. High textured bumpy feeling underfoot. Irregular: Misaligned pattern, some unfinished edges. Color combo ivory, light-med grey, and charcoal compliments the shades of brown and grey in the room.

This rug is thick and good quality. I don't feel like it is shedding much but it is only a few week old. The diamond pattern is really crisp on the back side, but not so much on the front row, but that doesn't bother me. With a rug pad underneath, it is canine approved for comfort. The one star was for the smell - it came with a very pungent chemical smell and had to live in the mudroom for a few days as it was making me feel ill. The smell is gone now, but I do wonder what chemicals I now have in my home. Thankfully the space is large and well-ventilated, so I am going to hang onto it. It does anchor the area nicely. Overall, I wouldn't kick it out of bed.

It’s awesome. Have had for 3 years and it barely shows wear. Light enough to brighten the room but the texture and color variance wonderfully masks stains. I put it over a rug pad and have zero complaints.

We ordered the 8x10 area rug and we returned it immediately. Although its wool, the quality was lacking, very flimsy like a blanket, more than a rug, the pattern was not straight, and there was a very strong musty odor. The worst part is we had to pay $75 just to return it? --I thought Wayfair had free returns on items if you were not satisfied or it did not work out?

This rug is perfection! I bought it with the hopes to lighten and soften the family area in a condo that doesn’t have a lot of natural light. This rug delivered on all expectations and I couldn’t be happier. The material is soft and rolled out easily. I put it over bamboo flooring, anchored under the front legs of the sofa, but needed to also add a rug pad to keep it from slipping under foot.

This rug is GORGEOUS!! I put it in my bedroom , it looks expensive, the details on this rug are beautiful, and it's incredibly soft. I wouldn't put it on a hardwood floor it's wooven, and the back is soft and may slip unless you add a non-skid backing. I have the cream and beige one. I love it and am so glad I ordered it!

Beautiful rug, especially like the variety of textures. Soft. It does have an odor though. Likely because it is wool. It has taken a few weeks for the smell to dissipate so this may be a problem for those who are sensitive to strong smells. Recommend a rug pad as this is not especially thick or heavy and slides easily on my wood floors. Do not recommend this rug if you have dogs or cats as the large loops on some of the rug design can easily snag on their claws.

This rug is so cute! I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. I love the feel of it- it definitely needs a nonslip pad underneath of it- otherwise it slips and moves as you walk on it- but it is a great neutral piece. Looks and feels luxurious

The texture of this rug makes it pop! It is so comfortable to walk on, and it was the decorative element that tied our master bedroom to the adjoining bathroom. The rug is very well made and unique. The neutral colors offer a variety options to support numerous color palettes.

This is the most beautiful rug ever and I would have it everywhere BUT it’s not suitable for high traffic areas like under the kitchen sink. Which is what I bought it for. The rug obviously is white so that’s an issue in that are but I knew that when I bought it… the issue is .. because it has so many diff textures it does not vacuum well with a Dyson stick vacuum. It also show a lot of wear from traffic so prob not good for a hallway either. I moved it to the bathroom and love it there. I didn’t last more than a year . Before that I always put short pile thick durable beautiful wool rugs there and the last rug lasted 6yrs there w small kids. Hope this helps

I bought this rug due to 5 star reviews. Please note it is very challenging going to clean and now I think o may have to get rid of this 10 x 14 rug. Expensive mistake. How to you vacuum between all these big balls. Loved the look the first couple days until it started trapping things. Way too much effort to clean. The rest of my house is starting to feel like I also have a pet due to all the fibers all around from the rug.

Love, love, love this rug! Ties the room together. A mix of neutral colors - variations of gray and ivory tones. Carpet does stretch a bit once it is put down. We tried without a rug pad for a month, but it was still sliding around getting bunched up despite the furniture holding it down. Much better with a rug pad.

UPDATED REVIEWWayfair made good and replaced the damaged rug with a new one and I love it! Warm and cozy and fits under our table even when we put the extra leaves in for family dinners. Thank you!Our rug arrived last week but we just opened it now as my son was in the hospital. It’s a beautiful rug but sadly has a flaw where, instead of the wool end being tied off on the backside or edge, it is loose with not enough length to slip it through and knot it on the backside. I’m worried about the daily use of this rug making this flaw worse over time. It was not a cheap rug by any means.

Not a Rug

This rug looks nice, but it really shouldn't be described as a rug. There is no backing, and it doesn't keep its shape at all. It would definitely be a trip hazard if used in high traffic areas. I would describe this as a very heavy throw that one can use for decoration. It is very itchy on the skin, and the odor is extremely powerful, even after airing out for several days. I would return if not for Overstock's poor return policy (Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer in cases of buyer’s remorse returns, such as an item didn’t fit, didn’t like the color/quality, changed your mind, ordered by mistake, bought it somewhere else, etc.). I'm definitely having buyer's remorse as I bought an item described as a rug when it doesn't appear to be. I've purchased several rugs from Overstock and have been pleased with all of them until now. Update 1 yr later this rug is still among favorite purchase last year. It has held up quite well to the traffic in our hallway.
