I was so happy to see Buttercream back, as it used to be my favorite years ago. Wish I would have read the reviews before buying this time around. I cannot even put into words how disappointed I am. The scent is nothing like it was and actually, smells bad. After a few hours, I had to put it out and actually put the top back on it. Unable to use. So sad!!

I love the warm vanilla smell with very slight musky buttercream undertones so it isn’t overpowering in sweetness but strong enough to consistently smell up the house all cozy.

Buttercream original jar is wonderful. Not very strong yet a beautiful unique scent. A nice bakery scent yet not as sweet to me as Christmas Cookie or Vanilla Cupcake but if you like the scent notes in those this candle is wonderful. I will purchase again I hope Yankee would make this and the other returning favorites in a 2 wick or 3 wick I would purchase more of these scents. Would love to be able to buy this and returning favorites in store and online all year.

This scent is STRONG. I use it in my bathroom because it is good at covering other strong scents. Although, the smell almost makes me nauseous. I personally do not enjoy how potent the butter smell is. But, if you like warm butter smell, you will like this scent.

This new buttercream is NOT the original classic scent. I have had buttercream for years and it's not the same. I'm very disappointed. If you want the original scented candle don't buy this one.
