Ready Set Go

This is particular to my needs. My very old beach/shells white quilt finally bit the dust after being used on my sofa. Other so-called matelasse replacements were more like bedsheets than quilts. Also other quilts were hinky for the sofa's dimension OR they were not white...they would be ivory or cream. After much trial and ERROR, I paid more and got what I wanted. Not too thick not too thin. Very surprised and happy with the results.

Nice Quality Quilt

The quilt set arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I did wash it before using it and it washed very nicely with no wrinkles. It looks very nice in my spare bedroom and blends very well with all the colors I use in the room. This is not a cheap thin quilt, it is very nicely made and a medium to heavy weight. I would recommend.

Good bedspread, bad pillow shams

The bedspread is very nice, it fits our queen mattress well, though if it were any thicker, the spread would not cover it along the sides. The pillow shams, on the other hand, are not wonderful They are too small for any regular pillow to fit in, besides being stitched in about two inches on either side of the opening, making it impossible to stuff ANY pillow inside. The company should make the shams available as a separate purchase, in larger sizes for larger pillows.

Not happy at all, the measurements are all off and it doesn't even begin to fit my California King...AT ALL!! It's way to short on the sides and it's scalloped which is not described in the details nor is it represented in the picture. Oh and in the ad it's described as 100% cotton but it isn't which is plainly stated on the tag 50% cotton 50% polyester. Buyer beware!!

Seaside quilt

The Seaside quilt replaces another similar white quilt that I have been using year round in Florida . Sometimes I use a light blanket with it. The Seaside is thicker and should not require anything extra on cool nights. The pattern is beachy in a subtle way. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I ordered a full/queen for a twin bed. The twin is a tall, old fashioned, cherry-wood bed with a lot of beautiful detail. The larger quilt was just perfect, reaching almost to the floor. Great detailing, but not too busy thus distracting from the beautiful wood. It is not a heavy quilt, so I found a beautiful blanket to drape across the foot of the bed. Product did shrink a little after being washed. Does not pill, stitching is tight, edges were sewn well. For a guest bedroom with little use, this was perfect.

I *strongly* suspect I am getting some recompense for leaving a review. Fortunately, I am *impervious* to bribes! I really LOVE this Cotton Quilt Set. Our house is *green* and *solar* and I try to minimize polyester, microfiber, and plastic or petroleum products (yes, you are entirely correct - a genuine, Californian "Fruit and Nut") so the all-cotton part was more important to me than the design itself, but I was delighted I found both in such a beautiful quilt set. I have washed it many times, and it still looks brand new. Goes well with my taupe Travertine tile! Beachy-theme is apropos, since I'm on the Central Coast... can't recommend highly enough. I tried to buy a 2nd one, for our CA-King bed, but they were sold out in the Taupe, and the blue wouldn't have fit in...Well woven, well stitched, and nicely finished.

This quilt is very beautiful. It's pretty thick/warm. The only thing is the sizing-I ordered a King based on other reviewers and seeing dimensions. I wanted it to cover the box spring of my queen size bed. It doesn't-it's fine because one side of the bed is against the wall. Just something to keep in mind when figuring out size to get. Since i got the king size the pillow shams are also king so they are slightly big for standard pillows. It looks wrinkled but it's probably my dryer (i have a washer/dryer combo) most things come out wrinkled. It's very white-photos on website show product correctly.
