Great value, beautiful rug

I love this rug. It adds the perfect warmth and texture to my bedroom without being too intrusive. Great value. Feels expensive.

I absolutely love the rug. Think of stiff bubble wrap and that will give you an idea of the texture. It feels soft under your feet and solid so it’s not puffy and easy to vacuum. It has been 3 weeks and it sheds a tremendous amount. Be aware there are some defects in the rug. I went through 2 of them because the first one had very visible issues with the stitching. The 2nd one I decided to live with because I do love the look and feel. It is shipped flat and not rolled so getting the seams out took a steamer and some time. Overall a 5 star rug though.

I chose this SAFAVIEH wool rug for the upstairs hallway. I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship. I would recommend this rug.

Avoid

Hardest thing to clean especially when it constantly sheds. My dog began having allergies after being in contact with the rug

Rug arrived damp and mildew smelling

This is a lovely and thick rug. I ordered the 10x14 on the 4th of July sale and it arrived very quickly. It was wrapped in paper and then in a plastic outer wrapper. When I opened the packaging, I noticed the rug felt damp and there was a very strong mildew smell. We rolled out and let it air out for nearly 2 weeks. The smell did not dissipate at all, so I returned the rug. It's been more than 2 weeks since then and the return has not processed yet. 2 stars for the first rug.

Horrible Non-Stop Shedding for Months

This carpet is garbage. Save your money. I expect a certain amount of shedding for the first month or so. But at three months and counting in a low traffic area it has been shedding continuous like a dog all over our floors and filling our vacuum bag after bag. It no longer looks like the rug we received.I have purchased Safavieh carpets before with no problems. This experience will definitely affect if I ever buy one of their products again. I am going to see if it can be returned for full refund and will update this post.

Nice looking. But so much excessive shredding. I would never get this rug again. I have to vacuum several times a week, and the shredding wool hairs fill an entire canister in my vacuum every time I vacuum. The wool hairs get everywhere, all over clothing, in the kitchen, and other rooms.

I am super impressed with this rug. It wears so beautifully and is surprisingly easy to remove stains. I run a bed and breakfast and have one of these rugs (Ivory) in each guest room and they’ve stood up well guest after guest. There was a lot of shedding initially (to be expected), but after 3 years this rug still looks great.

Nice plush wool rug.

Plush and thick. Bought a smaller one and then got this one which is bigger. A rug pad is not required. Color is very light cream and greige. Safavieh rugs are nice for the price.

the carpet is falling apart

Delivery took place on November 18th. I put the rug in my living room and I've noticed that it sheds a lot of wool. he is unraveling and letting go of his bonds.The rug isn't even a month old and is already falling apart.

Beautiful rug. Super heavy and thick. Did not require a pad underneath. Had it out less than 6 hours and the dogs got mud on it. Used my little handheld shampooer and the mud came right out. Love how classy it makes the room look!

Love love this rug - looks so good. It’s a heavy wool rug so it lays nicely. It does shed a bit so hopefully that will stop soon, but I don’t mind.

Ive had this rug for around a week now and it literally looks like a sick cat is in my office. It sheds an insane amount. There are huge chunks of fabric all over the room and this is a room that is a low traffic area too. Im very disappointed in the quality. This was a huge waste of money.
