Defect

Unfortunately this shade came in with a manufacturer defect. The stitching of the shade to the blackout fabric was terrible right in the middle of the shade. The package was fine so I'm sure it wasn't. BBB problem this was manufacturing.

Nice shades

Color: Ivory Dimension: 36 in X 64 in I got wrong size shades so I couldn't install it. The product did block sunlight when I tried in one of our bedroom. I have provided images of front and back of the shade for others to reference. I would recommend anyone buying this product. Please ensure you have measured your window and selected right fit for your window. This review was written by a full-time Bed Bath & Beyond employee. Roman blinds.

We bought 3 of these to replace our other Roman blinds and although we needed 64 inches in length and the description said they were 64 inches, they were not. After hung they lack about an inch of being too short. We kept them because we rarely pull them down all the way.

Mechanism broke to roll up

Loved this curtain but the roll up mechanism just stopped working one day and loathe manufacturer Eclipse does not have a functioning contact phone number to trouble shoot or order repair parts.

My bathroom window is frosted for privacy, but I take comfort in additional coverage so I got these shades in 23x64 black. I also love natural light during the day and was happy to find how simple it is to open and close. Very happy and definitely recommend! Ease of install and amazing look/feel

These were extremely easy to install with the supplied hardware. They also are true to size and look fantastic!

Lovely behind decorative curtains! Does a great job at blocking ALL light from the brightest window in the house. Fit inside window frame, so doesn’t detract from other window covering. Easy to install, success!

Missing hardware

I got one hung and it looks nice but the pull is hard. I loosened it a bit, the pull tab sits way higher than the bottom of the shade so you end up groping blindly for it. I am not used to shades without strings so this will be something new to get used to.

Already broke

We bought two and must have received one defected one. The shade gets stuck down and won’t go back up easily without a manual roll. The bar keeps breaking free from the latch up top and today it finally gave its final good buy. So disappointed. The fabric is great but the function is bad.

GET THE BRACKETS ON CORRECTLY

The portion of the bracket with plastic goes on top. MAKE SURE YOU MOUNT BRACKETS at least 4 inches (4-5) inside outer edge of shade housing. Pull back the valance portion from the Velcro so you can see ends and how it attaches to brackets. Each end of the housing (metal portion) rests on a tiny hook in the bracket and then press the plastic piece forward and it goes under the top edge of the housing. THE PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT - THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE PATHETIC. Try to get brackets level, but they don’t have to be perfectly level (use a level if you want, but eying it works). Ensure screws are tight enough to secure brackets so they are secure, but don’t over tighten. Two of my screws broke.

Would’ve loved a bit more detail in the instructions. Notes...

Would’ve loved a bit more detail in the instructions. Notes that would’ve been helpful: what size drill bit to use if you are mounting inside the wood window frame & not using the anchors. Also, a note pointing out that you want to screw the screw in deep enough to push past the resistance of the plastic clip in the bracket to force the head of the screw through the hole in that piece & tight against the metal bracket underneath. Also, it will make it MUCH easier if you have an extra person around that can hold one end up if you have to use 2 hands to push in the clip on the bracket to snap into place (some don’t give easily) or to push in that piece while you hold the blind. Overall, looks good. I would’ve liked it if it were a bit wider, but I’ve ordered blackout curtains to cover the peripherals.

3 of 4 broke in 4 months

I love these blinds BUT 3 of the 4 I ordered broke within 4 months! I replaced one within the 90 day allowable return window but they will not stand behind their product for the remaining 3, 2 of which broke within 120 days of use. I can understand a limited return window for something I dont like, but I would assume that a company would stand 100% behind a defective product! This has been a costly expense and a great loss. After 4 phone calls I am very discouraged over the customer service I received.

Not worth the price

Really disappointed in how poor the quality of these blinds were. You can see daylight through every stitch and they are terribly wrinkly. The thickness and quality of the material is not what I would have expected for the price of these blinds. The only saving grace is the ease of the retracting feature to raise and lower them. Overall, I wouldn't purchase again.

Excellent Purchase

We are excited to get rid of our Mini blinds. After looking around we are happy we found these Roman Shades. We have two large windows one in the kitchen and one in the living room these will fit perfectly in them. We went with the room darkening shades so that we could get rid of the glare that the mini blinds leave on the tv all day. We are enjoying movies and sports again. The cloth is easy to vacuum with a brush attachment and we no longer have to get in between every single blind to clean. We will be getting more for the other rooms.
