Beautiful but not 8 ft round

I love this rug. I put it in my eat-in kitchen under a small round table and chairs. The colors are soft and true to the picture on Lowe’s website. HOWEVER, a real pet peeve of mine. The description says 8ft round and so does the tag on the back of the rug. But it is not. It is 7.8 ft. Makes a big difference if you are trying to cover the faded hardwood which occurs naturally over time. I will probably keep it, but it irritates me.

This is a really pretty rug and a spot on match for my family room. Photo doesn't do it justice. It looked super sturdy upon receipt. I'm only rating it 'average' because I am starting to see wear already where loops appear to be loosening within the weave. It isn't within the traffic pattern, but just random. A bit disappointed, since I really like the rug.
