Like it but...

I loved the pictures of this rug and when I opened it I liked it but I’m having some issues after 1 week of having it. 1. It sheds a ton- wool rugs do this but this shedding is extra. 2. The braids pull- I have a dog who is loving this cushy rug but her (trimmed) nails pull it.

Disappointed

Loved the look when I got it. I thought it would shed for a short time. However, the fibers started to knot in front of the sofa where we sit. I have to cut the fibers by hand. It will never look good. I hate it now. Don't buy this rug.

Rug looks great in our bedroom & lovely and soft on bare feet. Does shed, as do most loose weave natural fibers.

Very nice rug, gives an upscale feel to the room while providing a soft and comfortable texture to bare feet. The wool material also adds warmth to the room, which is helpful in colder climates. Rarely a piece of the weaving comes undone with vacuuming, but this can quickly be remedied by tucking the weaving back in. Would recommend avoiding shoes on this carpet, as the ivory color will readily show mud. Overall, I'm really happy with the purchase.

The “threads” seemed to be glued on and not very securely. They peel off the base with just walking on it or gentle vacuuming. I wrongly assumed “handmade “ would mean higher workmanship quality.
