Not what I expected

This rug was thing and not soft at all. It looked like pieces of yarn looped together. I wanted a thick carpet that felt soft and that you would want to spend time on in a living room. This wasn’t like that at all. I also felt like the stitching of the shag pieces were spaced apart.

Beautiful colors - recommend pad for extra cushion

Love this rug! great combination of beige, cream and gray. Looks just like the pictures. You don’t have to put a pad under it but if you are looking for something more plush then I would get the pad. This rug isn’t as full/thick/cushiony as my shag rug from Costco. But like I said I really do like the rug.

Brings the room together

Very soft. Laid flat very easily, no edges folding up. Brings the room together -added a rug pad under for some squish. The color is mixed greys. Reviewing day after delivery so here's to hoping it lives up to its 5 stars!

Won’t Last

I bought this rug a year and a half ago for my living room. It is definitely a high traffic area in my home, but this rug is impossible to clean. I was so happy when I first bought it, but as time has gone on it has gotten matted. It is very difficult to vacuum and I can only clean it with the handheld attachment. This may be better in a low traffic area, but if it is used a lot I would not recommend.

Great area rug! This product was exactly as pictured and the colors were perfect for my back living room. My dogs absolutely love laying on the soft shag! It has been very durable and it's so versatile you could literally put it anywhere!

Nope. Not this one.

This rug is a complete waste of money. It is thin, the yarn is so slick and cheap feeling. Unfortunately I waited too long to open it and put it in my living room and now I’m stuck with it. I have to buy a pad to go under it as it feels like I’m walking on a towel laying on my hardwood floors.

Soft and a good value for the size.

This shag rug feels very good underfoot, especially with a thick felt pad. There is white, blue, and grey in the fibers, which makes some spots look a little dirty, like they grey isn’t part of the design. The shag at the very edges is a little sparse, but most of that is hidden by my furniture. I do not regret this purchase, and bought two for our bonus room because the rug has a good value for what we need it for.

nuLOOM Shaded Tassel Shag Area Rug

I like this rug and the light gray along with off white really compliment my gray walls. I got one for my living room and one for under my dining room table. Very versatile and match most color schemes. I like the shaggy texture. Rugs are holding up well in high traffic areas. Tassels add an extra touch!

Avoid this one

Feels and looks cheap, the threads/looms are missing in some small patches where you can see through to the mat. Rug has a weird film on it you can feel on your hands after touching it, and small single fibers are shedding like crazy. We would return if is shipping weren't so expensive.

I absolutely this rug! I really only got a new one bc we did some wall papering and I felt I needed to pull in some of the warmer tones with the creams and beige shades to tie everything together more. my husband was against it even though it was on super sale, needless to say he loves it too. he said it makes him love the accent wall even more now that it all flows so well and him and our puppy even laid on it right away while we watched a movie lol. I got the 7'10 x 11 in ivory and it is beautiful. it's subtle but you can still see the diff shades of creams and grays and i love how fluffy and soft it is. (I didn't enhance or lighten the photos at all I wanted the true color with the sun coming in the windows to show so it might help the next buyer better) the tassels lay really nice as well although with so many animals in my home im sure eventually those might have to come off. I really took my time to go through the review photos and tried the "see it in your home" feature as well. im glad a lot of the review photos showed me this rug and color with furniture and style so similar to mine so that helped too. it really matches our fancy farmhouse/shabby chic/country cottage vibe we love!

Rug won't lie flat

The color of the rug is fine, the nap is ok (altho it's not 'plush'), and it's very soft and cozy. BUT it is not woven "on the square", so it will not lie flat, but instead has small ripples in parts of it, no matter how I adjust it or the furniture on it. I gambled that this might be an issue with an inexpensive rug, and sure enough, I was right! So, I am regularly pulling it at the edges to try to get the ripples out so that it will lie flat. Which it really never does... so, be aware!

Falling Apart

I wrote a review after we had the rug for a couple.weeka nothing it was shedding some threads. We're a month in and the rug is losing threads constantly. We have dozens of 3" strands pulling out of the rug daily. The weave must be weak. I'm anticipating holes will develop soon. Very disappointed with this rug. It's beautiful and soft but definitely will not hold up well.

DO NOT BUY THIS RUG

If I could give this rug zero stars, I would. It is falling apart. The tassels are unraveling and chunks of the rug are coming out. I bought this for my baby’s room and had to remove it only after a few months. It is dangerous. I reached out to Nuloom about 7 times with no response. This is a quality issue. Not to mention the rug is so thin we bought a padded insert. Awful rug and extremely disappointing.

Looks good but that's about it

The rug looks like the one in the photos, it's very pretty but that's it. I'm taking off 3 stars because the rug is super thin and hard. Second it has a very strong chemical odor and it hasn't gone in a few days. Third, and the worst one of all, the rug was coated with something that leaves a sticky residue on socks and clothes! My socks are all sticky and my son's pants are sticky as well, he spends a lot of time crawling and sitting on the rug and I spend a lot of time with my feet over the rug as well. I'm honestly disappointed. I can't stand the overuse of chemicals on things.

Extremely honest review

Well one thing is for sure. The pictures posted by costumers was definitely taken the day they unrolled it. It was going to be perfect for our living room with toddlers. Had a little color variation so I felt like it would hide messes or spills easy..and it does. But we’ve had it two months (was delivered 10/31 and it’s now 12/30) and wow. It looks like it’s 4 yrs old. It’s so worn down and pulling EVERYWHERE so it looks awful!!! Of course I don’t have an option to return now. So I’ll have to move it to a less traffic room. Extremely disappointed.

Very Pretty

Beautful rug-not real thick , but not super thin either, (I bought a good pad for it-which made it seem thicker) . I bought the off-white color and it comes off very light in my room (which I wanted). It has beautiful shades of taupe and grey thru out. The fringe is very nice as well. It is not what I would call "plush" -but it is a very pretty and well made rug. A freind came and saw and instantly ordered one for herself because she thought it was so pretty.

Nice looking rug. It’s not super plush or full & the weave is pretty sparse, pad not thick either, but you also get what you pay for and this rug wasn’t very expensive. I wish this color scheme was available from the other manufacturer that made my other rugs, or that it was a higher quality. However, the colors worked w/my decor & color scheme. It’s a nice rug but if you’re looking for something with a thick weave or super plush this won’t meet your needs.

Will not stop shedding!!

I purchased this rug over 30 days ago. It has not stopped shedding. I assumed it would after a few vacuums but nope. I don't even think I have the option to return it at this point because I just went over the 30 days. It's a shame, the look was perfect. There are constant remnants of the shag all over our main floor. I wouldn't even call it shedding actually, it's more of the actual shag coming off. BUMMED. Daily I clean the pieces up and before I know it they're all over again.

Beautiful Rug

This rug is super soft, fluffy and beautiful in person. The rug really brightens the room, even with the grey color throughout. It vacuums easily with both my robot vacuum and my Dyson with no issues. My dog had an accident on a very visible section of the rug and after cleaning with Shout, you can’t tell at all. When we first opened the rug, there was a slight chemical smell that lingered for about a week, but then went away. Con: one end of the rug has less filling near the tassels and you can see straight through to the bottom. Whenever I vacuum that end, I just have to vacuum a certain way so the fluff is pushed towards the tassels instead of away. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying.
