A Deceitful Beaty

Absolutely love the pile and make of this rug. Purchased the blue/multi runner option. Wish the cut had more scroll/leaf detail and fewer flowers. The rug is nowhere close to the color in the advertised photo. There is a disclaimer in the packaging stating that it may be "darker". However, it is rolled in the rug and pretty much useless as you have to unpack the rug to see the warning. At that point you can clearly see the rug is not the same color. The site pictures a light olive-green accent which is actually closer to a seaweed green. The rug compliments my other piece (that was a color mishap too) so I'll keep it. But it would be nice if the site was updated with a more accurate photo. Especially since others have posted similar disappointment in the color depiction and there are other photos from customers that directly resemble what I received as well.

I like the look but the quality is really bad, lint keeps coming off, I stop using it.

Beautiful rug. Very well made and looks beautiful on the floor. I purchased it for my granddaughter for her bedroom. She absolutely loves it because she says it keeps her room warm and she loves the feel of it. I would definitely recommend this brand of rug.

Great rug but sheds a lot

Great rug but does shed like most high pile wool rugs do. Our kids destroyed it with spills and all, but it held up well and kept our feet off the cold floor in the winter. But get ready to vacuum all the time... like having a pet in the house.

Exactly the size and style I was looking for! Love the quality and feel of Safavieh woolen handmade rugs! The blue/grey color looks exactly like the pictures, while the darker roses are an olive color. I've purchased several Safavieh rugs over the years and this one sheds less than I was expecting. Well packaged, arrived perfectly. I highly recommend this rug, it looks beautiful in my family room.

Absolutely love this rug. The coloring is perfect. It's what I would call a true soft sea foam . Very pleased with the quality. I tried to purchase a second one I loved it so much and it wa sold out.

I am very pleased with this rug. It matches my blue gray walls exactly. We have a very large bathroom and the rug dresses it up nicely. It is very heavy and thicker than anticipated. My only minor issue is that the darker color on it is greenish but looked tan in the picture. I still love it though. I keep absorbent mats near the shower and tub to protect it from wet feet.

I love this rug fits perfectly with our decor. The darker color we thought was gold but turns out to be green. We worked with it and it does not clash. Yes I would recommend this rug for purchase

This rug is thick and plush. I did not give it 5 stars because the picture indicates a much darker brown pattern than what I recieved. It still looks good. but notice the difference in my pic attached.

I order two sizes of this rug. They were to go in the same area of my home. The New Zealand wool is an excellent produce with 1/2" thick pile. However the rugs do not match each other as illustrated. The smaller rug pattern is larger and lighter (no brown accents). I will keep them as we may be moving soon and I should be able to place them in different rooms.

Nice

This rug is really nice and very well made. Looks just as it is shown. And the size was truly accurate. I have it in my bedroom and it couldn't be anymore perfect.

Perfect size and color for Dining room

This is a beautiful rug. The colors are better in person for what I wanted, you see the design,but it is a muted effect. The rug did shed a bit when it was new, but after a few vacuums it was not noticeable. Would highly recommend!

True to Picture

Very impressed with the quality and color of the rug. I was looking for smaller, floral rug to pull in green/blue hues. Round rug works ideally in space. Nervous to use online site, but very pleased with outcome. Will use Overstock.com again.

Such a deal!

My dog chewed a hole in my carpeting right at the foot of the bed. I thought about adding a bench but everything I found had legs, so the hole would still show. I decided to by this runner to cover the hole instead. It was a good value. The colors are exactly as I expected. The quality is far superior than what I expected. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.

Georgeous high quality

Beautiful plush high quality runner. I ordered a 2'6x6, it's very large. Pile is very thick and tight. Colors are accurate., ,,,,,, It was on sale for $*** and I know I got a great deal. Even hubs comments on how nice it is and it soft and cushiony., ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Nicer than I expected.

Very brown

The background is really brown, not espresso dark brown which is what my monitor was depicting. The shedding has been constant. Have vacuumed it at least 15 times and the lighter fibers show up on the dark background within no time. Recommendation would be with caveats.

Sheds, sheds and sheds

I got this rug long time ago and did not use it until about 5 months ago and after 5 months this rug still sheds! its horrible, the colors are nice, the pattern is cute but if you don't want to vacuum every 3 or 4 days do not get this rug. I will keep it for now it was not expensive, i guess i got what i paid for.

Great rug, but sheds worse than a cat

Beware of the excessive shedding of this rug. Seriously, I've been vaccuuming it every three days for the last three weeks and it still sheds. It fills up my Dyson every time. I find shed-balls all over the apartment -- even in rooms that are not near the rug! I even wake up with little fibers of rug shed in my mouth --- its getting everywhere! But, alas, I love the way it looks, so will keep it for now. I got it for less than $*** using a coupon, so I can't really complain. One more thing --- what I thought was brown in the rug is actually an olive green. But, it still worked with our room, so it wasn't a big issue. Overall, this rug looks great, just is a real pain in the butt to care for.

pretty rug

I got this rug for a bedroom I had just painted gray. The color of the rug was more blue gray, as described. I had also just painted another room a periwinkle color and this rug looks great in that room. I like the subtle design and the size. This looks great in the small bedroom I put it in.
