This is my 5th safavieh rug. This brand of wool rugs is well made and beautiful. I bought this for my master bedroom. It is soft under foot and looks exactly like the photos. It makes my bedroom clean and very cozy. Of course like all wool rugs, it sheds but it doesn't take away from the quality and beauty. The shedding should subside within a month or so
