I have used this rug in more than one design project. Why? Because its neutral palette and subdued pattern serve as a blending rather than attention getting feature in most rooms. Also because it is hand knotted, it doesn’t shed like machine and hand hooked rugs. It is not perfect. The knots per inch are low so it isn’t a tight weave and warp (AKA backing) shows in some areas (the area and exact affect is different for each rug) — but that also gives the rug a vintage look. Despite what some reviewers say, I think the colors are true to the pictures — however the names the vendor uses in the description are vague and in the case of “dusty teal” misleading. I’d call the colors: grays, subtle greens, tan/beiges with only a hint of dirty teal. If you’re looking for a “investment” quality oriental rug, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a durable, classic rug at a great price point this is a great choice.

Looks nothing like the picture. As others have noted, it’s light olive/sage and the little bits of teal read gray (maybe a blue gray if you look really hard). And there are black lines from the base material and looser weave. All that said it’s a beautiful rug and I kept it. I just had to use in a different room so happy accident

The color of the rug advertised does not match the color of the rug received. I knew this when I purchased the rug based on some of the reviews, and as a result I got exactly what I wanted! This rug is great value for the money. Nice quality and can stand up to a few puppy accidents!

Beautiful rug but way way way darker than photos shown. My room is fairly neutral so it fits in fine, but am disappointed that the rug I received barely resembles what I ordered and paid for.

Luxury wool vintage like rug

I love this rug, I purchased on Memorial Day sale, and I got super good deal. Probably, I waited the lowest sale price 😀. I bought 10x8, large and looks luxury. The color is khaki olive, and looks great with everything. It’s made very well, real wool and tufted. My children liked and my husband too. We all enjoying in our living room.

I just received this rug and carefully opened it in case I needed to return it. I should have believed the reviews that commented that the colors were off. The description says lined and dusty teal when the real colors are a olive green (which does not fit with my color scheme) and a soft dusty teal green. For a rug in this price range, the description should be accurate. The colors are soft and muted, but definitely not what I was expecting. Trying to decide if I should return it. Disappointed!

The Klein linen/Dusty teal area rug definitely was a beautiful rug, but it was much darker when it arrived in person. The rug came nicely, packaged and folded, and did flatten out quite quickly, but I did have to send it back immediately due to the color inconsistency.

Beautiful Colors

I especially love the colors in this rug-- neutral "greige" tones, sea greens and blues, and a bit of pale yellow. It has rows of black fibers in between some of the colored rows which gives it an antiqued look from a distance. The border seems a little thin and wimpy for the price of the rug and some of the fibers in the border of the rug were loose, which is why I took off a star. I was able to use a crochet hook to pull the loose fibers into the loops of the border so they (hopefully) don't get worse, but it makes me worry that it won't hold up to use in the long term as well as our true antique wool rugs. I love the pattern and colors enough that I decided to keep it though.
