Carpeter Hubby loves this table

We purchased this product after purchasing two bookcases made by the same company because of the way they were constructed. My husband who is a master carpenter by trade says the construction on this table is amazing and the drop leaf feature is easily handled to use and store away again. We were both impressed with the quality of the wood and look forward to finishing it for our new home!

Missing legs and cracked leaf portion

Table arrived very quickly. However when I opened the box, I expected legs came with the table. There were no legs in the box. Also saw one of the bolts was tightened too tight as it cracked the wood. Without the legs the table is about 100 pounds. Not sure how I will load it into my car, drag it through the Walmart parking lot and through the store to return it

I’ll admit, the first two times I ordered this table, they arrived broken. However, the functioning version of this table is great! It was easy to stain and finish, it really is a neat wood. The table condensed is a perfect square measuring 40 inches, great for smaller spaces, and easily extends!

Really turned out nice

I had a difficult time finding a table at the right size, shape, color, and price. This was perfect except for the non finish. I was pretty leary of finishing it myself. But I'm very pleased with the outcome. BTW I used minwax gel stain in antique maple with the pre stain recommended and the wipe on poly.

I was happy that the table was made of rubber wood which is cut for lumber after it can no longer be used to harvest rubber sap. It is a sturdy table and well built. The instructions were good and it was easy to assemble. The wood stained and painted well and I am very pleased with the final product. The packaging by the manufacturer was very thorough with lots of padding and protective corners. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that the package was dropped at some point during shipping. It did not damage the packing but fell with such force that it broke the 1/16" steel cable that works the slide mechanism on one side of the table and broke 3 of the 4 connection points for the trestle that holds the butterfly leaf. I was able to repair the broken wood and replace the broken cable but it required about 1/2 days work. I preferred repairing it instead of sending it back and ordering another table since the broken parts were all internal and are not visible. Overall I am very pleased with this product. Less

Table is very heavy and nice. However, was broken when it arrived. I think this is too heavy for regular UPS delivery. It needs to have white glove or something. It requires 2 people to carry. I noticed when the truck driver lugged it off, he couldn't help but to slam it down. We returned the table and are not reordering because there is no way to know it won't happpen again
