Really like this rug. It's soft and well made. The only thing is that there are a bit more black flecks/ streaks of color than what's obvious in the photos. Gives the rug a grayer tone. Because we had hoped to use it as a stair runner rather than a hallway or somewhere less obvious, the black flecks are more obvious...which isn't ideal. That being said, it would actually work to obscure a bit of dirt, lint, etc. if that's what you need.

Remarkably Stain Resistant

My adorable black lab had an upset stomach on Day One of us laying out our new vanilla bean rug! To my surprise, I treated the stain before everyone returned and no one could believe that there was a mess before. Five stars! Light rug will definitely stand up to kids and dogs.

Purchased for bedroom and runners

We purchased these rugs over a year age. They look elegant, well made, and just as they appear in the photos. My only complaint is that they shed. Not in a way that the rug appears to be in poor shape or made of poor quality/materials, but in the way that you need to regularly vacuum if you have allergies. The wool sheds all over. We find that it collects in the air purifier and on the wood adjacent to the runners.
