Very nice finish, metal body with pvc/plastic internal sleeve. Easy install with Allen Wrench and thread tape. Comes with nylon sleeve. Best with copper pipes I’m. It sure what you’d have to do to install this in an older home or if that’s even an option. Mid weight NOT a cheap plastic unit. It has a very nice one piece trim piece/flange which is molded as one piece of the body. The only thing I would have liked to see was a rubber trim gasket which would give an option of caulk or the gasket itself or both. Water spout lever glides smoothly. This is a heavy duty spout with a stylish design. You may find that it will work with other dark bronze or matte black fixturing that you already have. One key test of a tub spout with a diverter is how well it does in diverting the water to the showerhead. So far this one diverts 100%. Not even a few drops come from the spout after the shaft is pulled up. The only negative is that it does not include a rubber gasket for where it meets the wall of your tub or shower. Hard to knock it a star for that, however, as pretty much no spout I have ever purchased has a gasket included either. Faucets, yes, but not tub spouts for some odd reason.

I always prefer Hansgrohe over Grohe or Moen because it just looks classier and beautiful. I have a Moen set for the sink, barh and shower in one bathroom, and Hansgrohe in my other bathrooms. They have a a nice flow and function really well. The finish is also amazing. I highly recommend it.

I've been searching for a matte black tub spout like this to go with the matte black shower system I recently installed. This is exactly what we wanted, down to the last detail. I don't have the collection that goes with this, but it matches nicely with a matte black shower system form another manufacturer. To me, this has a nice, more vintage look, not modern, and what we were looking for. The weight of this alone should give you a good idea of the quality, and hardly anything cheap or plastic in this. A nice solid piece, and a nice addition to our bath. This sells for $105 and change (as of this review), a little pricey, but well worth the money if a quality, great looking spout is what you're after. This is constructed nicely, and should last for years with no issues. A great looking tub spout, we couldn't be happier.

This is a very heavy and solid tub spout. It is not hollow and lightweight like inexpensive versions. It fits onto a standard 1/2" MIP fitting. The pull up diverter lever is smooth and easy to use. It does say that you need a pressure balancing valve paired with it. This ensures a consistent temperature whether using the tub spout or shower head. Most modern valves have this and if you are retrofitting an old tub spout with diverter pull like this one then you should have no issues. It is expensive and it is high end. It certainly has the look and feel of it. 5 stars.

Hansgrohe makes a particularly attractive tub spout - nice, simple style. We are pleased with this tub spout - obvious good quality.
