Pleased with my purchase

Purchase this in Black for my new bathroom and so far I really love it. I was a little worried that it would be too high but it's perfect. Looks nice, modern yet classic. I like that it's not your run-of-the-mill faucet but not trendy either.

Pretty, solid but low flow

This faucet is made of a solid material and looks good. The flow is lower than you might expect from the size, though, and it does get water spots easily (like a lot of black finishes).

Not installed yet but in looking at product seems like a quality item.

Love the style and quality of this faucet. It’s clean and contemporary but not too modern so fits nicely in a transitional-ish design. Note that the pull for the drain sticks out at an angle from behind the faucet so if the installation area is close to the backsplash it may be tight. Ours just barely fit.

I wanted to change the sink faucet to change to a water fall faucet, initially thought I would buy a Pfister that met my criteria but when I looked at it in person I didn't like it as much, didn't look as elegant. The water fall faucets from Signature Hardware and Hansgrohe were too expensive for my purposes. So looked at other options and I ended up with this. This is very elegant looking and very practical. Looking for many years of using this, kids really like it.

This review is for the hansgrohe Joleena Transitional 1-Handle 1-Hole 8-inch Tall Bathroom Sink Faucet in Matte Black, 04773670. This is a very high quality bathroom sink faucet, made of solid brass (you heard correct, solid brass!) with a ceramic cartridge. It has a sleek matte black finish that looks awesome and cleans easily. The single handle water operation is nice and smooth, and the faucet is a great height, which is a plus for those that wash their faces over the sink. This faucet’s design works well in either an industrial or a farm house bathroom décor. We matched it with a granite counter top that has a mix of whites/grays/blacks in the stone, and it looks fantastic. Even though it’s matte black, by combining it with these particular counter top colors, it made this faucet stand out more than the prior shiny chrome faucet we were using. It really changed the look in a positive direction. The faucet is simple to install if you have basic DIY plumbing skills, and installs with any standard bathroom sink lines and basin. This model is designed for a single-hole sink. There isn’t a base plate that comes with it since it isn’t required for a single hole install, but if you have a 3-hole sink, you will need to purchase a matching base plate separately. As with any other faucet, you will also need to purchase plumber’s tape and plumber’s putty to waterproof the threads and drain from links. Love this faucet!

We bought 2 of these faucets for our recently renovated master bathroom. Cannot say enough good things about them. The design is gorgeous, and they are nice and heavyweight. The water pressure is excellent. Hansgrohe is a quality brand and being able to use our military discount to save 10% from Lowe's was the icing on the cake!

I finally psyched myself up to install this faucet. I got the old faucet off and then realized this thing doesn't come with a deck plate to cover the side holes. You can buy one, but they charge you another $35 for it. There is no way it costs them anywhere near $35 for the deck plate and they are already charging a premium price in the faucet itself. Highway robbery, I say! Fortunately, my old deck plate (although not perfect) worked well enough that I could just use that. Attaching the hoses is a delicate process. There are warnings all over about not letting the hoses twist while installing because a bent hose would void the warranty. Turns out, it's very difficult to tighten without twisting the hoses. I managed it, but this seems like a design flaw to me. Again, given the premium price, these sorts of issues should not be present. The plunge rod that lifts and lowers the drain stop was harder to install than other designs I've worked with, but it takes up less space, so that's nice. The faucet looks nice, feels solid and the rounded design helps keep water from pooling anywhere on it and that helps keep it clean and that's all very nice, but there are a few things that need to be addressed at this price range. Less
