[Rewarded Review] Stylish and unique, but maybe not that washable

I really like the design of this rug. I'm using it outdoors on a covered patio, and wanted the washability to easily handle dirt tracked across it. The good news is that despite being very thin, the pile is super-soft, making it very comfortable to the touch. The bad news is that because it's thin and washable, it definitely doesn't have any ability to stick to surfaces (a rug pad is practically required), but it's also a bit difficult to get it to lay flat. The slightest bump will wrinkle it. The worst part of it all is that despite being so thin, at 5'x8', it's still so big that it doesn't fit neatly into washer. I have an 2.4cf European-style washer, and it definitely will not fit inside, but even in my previous extra-high capacity washer, I'm not sure that this rug would be an easy fit once crumpled up. It's nearly as thin as a towel, but definitely not as pliable, and far larger, so just keep that in mind before buying it for its machine washable feature.

[Rewarded Review] Looks Great over our new vinyl plank flooring

This is my first Jonathan Y rug. I decided to go with the modern Persian in a light gray and I picked up that eight by 10 ft size rug. According to the Home Depot website, this rug was actually loomed by artisans in Turkey. Drug state said it can. It is durable enough for high traffic rooms. No backing is necessary nor needed for this road. The thickness of the rug is actually 31 of an inch which didn't seem like it was very thick compared to other rugs I own but it was just perfect for what I had it for. One thing I thought it was interesting was that it states to avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. I've never had a rug. Give me such Instructions. Walking on this rug barefoot it is extremely soft and flat which is really nice considering I have vinyl plank flooring underneath it that squeak. Everybody in this house is quite satisfied with the pattern on it. It just goes with our whole decor wonderfully.
