not enough headroom between bottom and top bunk

Great Bunk Bed, Excellent Price Point

I was hesitant to purchase this bunk bed based off of the other reviews. I have put together a lot of furniture over the years though so I decided to take a chance. When it arrived it came in one box. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, especially at this price point. Assembly was fairly easy. The key is to not tighten any of the screws completely until the whole bed is put together. Tighten the screws just enough to catch and hold the shape. Then at the end, once the whole bed is put together, go around and tighten each screw.

This bunk bed is not it.

Absolutely terrible. I’m so disappointed. My husband went to make our daughters bed for the first time. Literally the first time after putting it together and he is 6’2” 185 pounds. He stepped on to the latter to put on the fitted sheet and it broke !! This is ridiculous. Do not buy this bed. Also the assembly 1st is terrible. The slatted headboards and footboard should come already assembled because that part was THEE worst. Also you have to screw in each slat that the mattresses go on individually. Never have I ever in all my years as a parent (17 years) had a bed frame that made you do that. My youngest girls were so excited to have this bunk bed and it’s broken right away.
