We were happily surprised at the quality of these pillows. The feather and down filling makes them soft yet firm. We will recommend them to anyone who asks.

I opened the shipping box and was met by a terrible odor. The pillows were packaged in a sealed bag and then sealed in another white bag. Upon opening the bags there was an overwhelming smell, similar to wet corn husks 🤢. I had to put them in the dryer with two dryer sheets and then febreeze them before we could rest out head on them. I like the fill level and find them comfortable. I just don't think a customer should have to go through all that, before being able to use them. If I saw them in a store I would never have bought them, they were not cheap and the smell was so repulsive.

More.firm than fluffy.

Health hazard due to bad quality feathers / fabric

Unfortunately this pillow spills feathers everywhere. The same is true for the comforter by Beautyrest. They produce lots of dust. Unless you love vacuuming every day, or breathing in feathers (I've woken up with feathers up in my nose), you should avoid this product. Never thought I'd think of a pillow as a potential health hazard.

I bought these pillows and I'm not sure if I can use them....they STINK. I don't know what chemicals they have on them but if the smell doesn't leave soon the pillows will!
