FYI: it is glass however be aware it is very small maybe would just cover a dinner plate, if that’s what you are looking for. I thought the pic made it look bigger. But it’s good glass. I was looking to replace my cake stand glass cover that I broke.

I bought the cloche thinking it came with the stand shown. Alas it did not so I went back and ordered it. Not very stable.

Perfect for size for a mini cake.
The Jupiter mini cake stand and the Jupiter glass dome (sold separately) are the perfect size for the mini 5 inch cakes that are sold at grocery stores. The cake stand is made of thick glass that seems like it won't break easily and the glass dome (sold separately) is heavy for its size with a smooth finished edge on the bottom.
Exactly what I was looking for!
I had been looking for a small cake plate topper for literally over two years. I came across this one online and the price was unbelievable. I was so excited to see if it would work, and it is exactly what I was looking for!
I too thought I was getting an 8 1/2 dome cover. It’s 7 inches and going back.
Not 8.5”!!!
It is 7.5”. Not 8.5”. It won’t allow me to upload the pics with the ruler, but it is SMALL!! Going back.
