amazing item

I've had these air filters for a couple of years now and love them. I have two of them so they are rotated. These have been a great purchase and have saved me hundreds of dollars so far. I have the merv 11 so that's right in the middle of the most air purifying in the most air flow.

Easy to clean. Either buy 2 of these and exchange out each time you clean OR... buy a pack of disposables while you wait on this one to dry. Dry in sun or in winter it takes longer of course. I am drying mine in basement with dehumidifier running. I just slip a disposable one into unit in the meantime. Fits perfect 20×16×1 just fine.

Good reusable filter

Good filter. Clean it off when dirty and reuse it. Make sure your system has enough air return area because this is a Merv 11 and can reduce the airflow if there is not enough area. This is the main filter in my system and I have an additional filter grill and a reusable Merf 11 filter in it. Works great.

I didnt know about this until showed up on lowes app. I use kn for all my cars and keep paper filter only for washing kn. Just installed so we shall see how it performs in house.

Does the job right

Had no idea our existing washable filters were letting so much dust into the house. The only Merv’s I ever heard of were Griffin and Rettenmund.

Why wouldn't you...

I replaced a poor fitting clean-able foam filter, this filter fits better and after 6 months of use I'm completely happy. This filter make perfect sense, I hear roomers they may be a few different filter qualities to choose from soon. Looking forward to more info. This filter already saved me from buying 2 replacements and now heading into winter.

Like the ability to reuse after cleaning. Sure it is pricey up front, but when you go through a gazillion of the disposables (you do the math) their price becomes overwhelming. How about going out to get a filter and the size you need is out of stock. I had one already so now I can swap out the filter, and rinse/wash the other and let it dry. All good in my opinion.

It seems like a good deal. Instead of buying a new filter ever few months i cn just wash this one and place s cheap spear in while it drys. I havent gotten to try it yet though

the filter fits and is sturdy. if it holds up to being cleaned, it'll be a winner! I ordered the filter and when I picked it up, I measured the dimensions and it was very close. put in my furnace and it lid right in. I need to put one of those plastic bread bag picks on the edge to bring it back out! if it's as good as my last one it'll save big bucks!

Better Than Expected

It made more sense to buy one permanent filter than to replace disposable ones again and again.

Great Product That I Didn't Know Existed!!!

I didn't know that K&N made a HVAC filter. Great product. Hopefully it lasts for a very long time. I will save a lot of money on replacement air filters for both of my return airs.
