We purchased the Catch 3" x 12" subway tile in Ice with a matte finish. For a crisp, clean look, we chose to extend the tile out from the shower and across an entire wall. It does double-duty as a backsplash behind our vanity. Running the tile from floor to ceiling made our small, windowless bathroom feel much bigger too. We went for a vertical, stacked layout to give a modern vibe. Lastly, we recommend getting samples of both the glossy and matte finish so you can see the two side-by-side.

This tile is affordable and great quality. The size and color options are terrific!

The tiles came in with rub marks on each corner. Although packaged well in the shipping box, the tiles were poorly packaged from the manufacturer.

A good quality subway tile.

The Emser tile though obviously a different lot, matched perfectly with our existing tile. The color was exactly the same as the previous lot with no discernible variation. That is the mark of an excellent quality tile with good quality control. I highly recommend this tile.

We had these tiles installed in our shower (above the tub) and half-wall all around the bathroom, using a one-third stagger design. This gives a very contemporary feel and the color and quality are great, with a satin (not glossy) finish. Looks wonderful and should be very easy to maintain, with minimum of grout lines. We will be installing the same tile as a backsplash in our kitchen but with a different pattern: stacked instead of staggered. Should be east on the eye and very pleasing!

After searching for something with much more visual interest I went full circle and chose this simple but perfect subway tile. The counters were polished so I wanted the matte finish for contrast, the size was not your basic subway which added more designer feel and going with a simple look allowed the other features in the kitchen to shine. Will be ordering this same tile again. Loved it!
