One small design flaw, but very attractive.

A very attractive bed frame and headboard. The headboard is a lovely, muted shade of bamboo. Only trouble is, the mattress easily slides off the frame due the frame not have a 'lip' on each side to 'contain' it. So I had to tie the mattress to the frame.

Great value for the price, would recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this frame. Made of lightweight but sturdy aluminum, with real bamboo accent slats on the head and foot ends. The fit and finish of the pieces and fasteners are really good, which made the assembly process a breeze. It even came with a little ratchet tool as a bonus which worked great. One thing to note: it is lower to the ground then I expected, so don't expect to fit large/tall items under the bed. Overall, for the price I'd definitely recommend it. Also purchased the Zinus foam mattress with this, which I've also left a review on.

Stylish, Affordable and Durable!

Purchased this bed 2 months ago. Considering I’m not super “handy”, it was relatively easy to set up. Everything aligned perfectly, and I’m quite surprised at how sturdy and stylish the bed is, and at such a great price. It is used daily by an 85kg male, and we’ve no complaints. Absolutely stoked!

Nice bed frame for the price!

Sturdy frame, easy to assemble. Clean, simple look for just about any decor. Though a bit time consuming to put together, it goes faster with two people, and instructions are clear. Our mattress doesn't move even though the base doesn't offer a "lip" on the sides (there is one at the foot).

i like that it was lightweight. easy to unroll and remove the package. It's nice and soft and looks pretty good for the price.. i hate the fact that a huge portion still has not inflated, and it's a big dent. luckily, my grandkids aren't tall, so they didn't notice. will probably keep for a bit but its not a forever bed.

Love Zinus! I’ve used their mattresses for years, and their bed frame too. However I am not loving this new frame I purchased. It’s my fault for not looking closer - it’s so short! I’m tall so this bed frame isn’t for me. I’m sad to have to take it apart and send it back. The design is great, just too small for me

[Rewarded Review] Steel Slats were too short

We followed all the correct steps as to how to set up the bed frame only to find that the final steel slats meant to hold the bed frame together were cut too short. The bed frame had three steel slats cut too short and therefore my mattress dips in the middle making sleeping uncomfortable and the bed frame unstable and not secure. :(

Too Low

I bought this bed a few weeks ago and while my son in law found it to easy to assemble I find it too close to the ground only being about ten inches off the floor the legs are far too short. I will now have to go to the expense of buying bed risers. This will an added expense which will not be easy for me to cope with. If the height had been mentioned in the specifications I would not have bought this bed.

When it said "assembly required" I wasn't expecting every single piece. That being said, it was relatively easy. My daughter and I had it made in about 2 hours. I thought it would be higher off the ground than it is. Overall it's a nice bed. We bought it for our spare room and we've had a number of visitors sleep on it and they've all liked it

Simple, cool design

Love the look! It's the right size perfect for my studio casita. Easy to assemble. The headboard hardware can be noisy/creaky when getting in bed and moving around in my sleep. Hoping a rug underneath the bed (currently on hard laminate floor) will solve further noise issues. Otherwise happy with it!

I am so impressed with this bed for the price. It arrived quickly, the package was compact considering it had a QS bed in it; the instructions were clear; all tools were included (even a ratchet which was so much easier); it was easy to assemble and it looks great! Really happy with it.

Difficult to Assemble

I ordered this bed frame because I heard it was easy to assemble and the price point was good. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to assemble due to irregularities in the alignment of the holes. Once put together, the back board is not straight but slightly bent in the middle. Not happy with this bed at all.

Lacks support. Uncomfortable.

I recently purchased a Tempur Cloud mattress and this Zinus Kai Bed frame (Queen). I do not feel like I'm sleeping on 100 of the softest marshmellows. This bed frame is poorly designed and I am uncomfortable sleeping on it. The horizontal slats are uneven and uncomfortable I can feel it through the mattress. It was also difficult to assemble with 1 person. Would return it if I could.

Ordered two for a guest room. The beds ordered well packaged and all parts were included and nicely labeled. The beds were a bit tedious to put together but not difficult. They aesthetically look nice but are lightweight and seem to move easily. I will have to either add an area rug or somehow weight the frame so it’s more stable.

I really like this bed,it's beautiful and easy to install. I love how much room is under it,my only issue is where it's sitting on a tile floor, when making it up it scoots a little. It's really not a big deal at all. Will be moving to a carpeted room soon,it want be an issue at all. I recommend to anyone looking for a nice sturdy bed.The price was great also.

Good buy. Price was right.

Caught it on sale and Bed is sturdy. I’m using it as a guest bed but has to sleep in it a few night due to construction in the primary suite. It has good support for the mattress. My only gripe is the frame seems slick, the mattress slide across while I’m making the bed up. Can be fixed with grip tape but just a note.

Bargain Bed Good Buy

Pretty good. My fault for not reading the dimensions; was shorter than I wanted. But my mattress was tall enough to make it functional. My daughter and SIL just used it this weekend and said it was very comfortable and no squeaks or movement. For the price would be happy to get a couple of years out of it. But it looks like it will last longer.

Very well oqckaged in a large box, pictures are a little deceptive but the specifications are listed. It's like tiny furniture but perfectly adequate for a kids room or even a guest room. It is very well made very easy to assemble. Beware the directions label parts with Alphabet but the actual pieces are numbered. Thank goodness the diagram in the directions is well illustrated. It goes together very quickly. The bamboo piece are very nice. We have a 12" memory foam mattress on it and it works great, you can still see part of the headboard and the mattress has great support. We have the queen size. Not a lot of under storage because it's so low to the ground. You could probably raise it with risers. Well worth the money.

Beautiful, and rock solid

This is exactly what I wanted in a bed frame! It sits nice and low, and is well built and rock solid. The style is fantastic.

I got this bed frame a few weeks ago for my son who came to stay with me for awhile. I finally got around to putting it together before he gets in town this weekend. Let me tell you, I was so happy and surprised how easy it was for me to put this frame together by myself. It took me about a hour because I did it alone, it would of been so much faster with someone else. Everything that was needed was in the box and was labeled nicely. This also came with a handy ratchet that took a load off my shoulders. Once I got it together I put a mattress on it and made the bed up. Of course I had to lay on it awhile and test it out. Felt nice and sturdy, long lasting and the mattress held nice. Definitely recommend this if you looking for a frame. When I go to remodel my room I'll be doing some more searching of my own.
