The Mikasa Kalina China are beautiful and well-made. I highly recommend them.

This set arrived and they cannot be put in the dishwasher... it says hand wash only on them. I also noticed it said they cannot be put in the microwave. This was not clear online and actually incorrect on the specifications (regarding dishwasher). Returned them and emailed regarding refund but received no response yet.

The description of the dinnerware stated that it was dishwasher safe and Microwave safe. After it was unpacked, we discovered that on the back of each plate and bowl was printed "HAND WASH ONLY" and "DO NOT USE IN MICROWAVE". Although wayfair gave me a discount when I complained I doubt their websites truthfulness so I likely will not buy from the company in the future.
So pretty. Perfect for spring and summer.
Our family is trying to eat healthier this year and take the time to sit down to dinner with each other. It's amazing what beautiful dinnerware adds to the whole esthetic. No, they cannot be used in the microwave and yes, you need to wash them by hand. Great conversations happen now around the dinner table, and the sink.

I bought this set because the design was beautiful, the plates are delicate they easily chip, only downside is they are not microwave safe
