Efficient and Convenient Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

I have been using the VCN 5 Cordless for a while now, and the device has fully met my expectations! It is lightweight, compact, and cordless – perfect for quick and efficient cleaning. I particularly liked the suction power and the convenience of working without a cord. The battery lasts long enough for a full apartment cleaning. The set of attachments is great and covers different surfaces. The pleasant and stylish design adds to the overall impression.

Well built

Great suction power only when it is in "turbo" mode. However, battery level goes down quick in this mode. and the motor gets very hot in this mode. Other than that, it is a good vacuum.

Convenient, Not the Best Suction, Just OK

I've had the VCN5 less than a month. Display failed first day, Karcher replaced the unit, so 5 Stars for customer service. I do daily light vacuuming on bare floor, unit clogged near motor head in less than a week, giving me a "replace filter" message. Cleaned clog out as well as filter, works fine. Turbo mode uses energy very quickly, so unit holds longer charge only in eco mode. But eco mode has weak suction. I do like the compactness and convenience of a cordless, nice variety of attachments, easy to clean and maintain, but I use my regular vacuum for a thorough cleaning. Disappointed.

Great Vacuum

This replaced my Dyson and I‘m very happy with this purchase. Much better battery life and quiet. Also very good is that you don‘t have to hold the power button. Highly recommend.

I hate Dyson

I bought a Dyson years ago only to be frustrated by both the machine and how much I spent. I was reluctant to ever purchase anew stick vacuum and my home showed that. It was embarrassing when people came over and I would explain that it was Dyson's fault.

Didn't last a year

Terrible quality, I noticed when I first bought that the build quality was lacking when the lcd screen freely lifted, held on by a bead of glue, but the vacuum worked alright at first. After a few months I realized how much of a pain it is to maintain and keep things tangle free. After a year, there isn't even enough suction to pull debris into the canister, so when you turn it off there's always pieces falling back out and onto the floor, though this doesn't happen with the pole removed when used in portable mode. I've already bought a replacement and this will be retired to just spot cleaning messes as they happen.

Mediocre

The Eco mode is worthless - it barely sucks at all. The medium mode is okay, but I find myself using Turbo quite a bit to do a sufficient job and that drains the battery like crazy. I am lucky to get 20 minutes. It also doesn't do hair/fur very well - clogging up the tube and the debris cylinder very quickly. The attachments don't detach very easily sometimes, requiring quite a bit of yanking and jerking to get them to come apart. For those environmentally-minded, the packaging includes a lot of single-use plastic bags to dispose of.

The VCN 5 is my second cordless vacuum cleaner and the features are perfect for home use.

I have vacuum love...this was exactly what I wanted and shopped around for. I purchased this because of the long battery life and stronger suction so I'm so happy it actually does what I had hoped! I can use this to vacuum my entire first floor which is rather expansive with a lot of hardwood, and it does not disappoint. It finds dust I didn't see which is fantastic. It is also lightweight and easy to use.

The KARCHER VCN 5 is the best vacuum I've tried, next to the VCN 3. Pet hair has always been an issue, so we've owned many different vacuums over the years. The VCN 5 is my first pick because it's completely cordless and has it's own wall mount storage which doubles as a charging base. Other vacuums were bulky and took up precious space in my storage closet. The VCN 5 weighs approximately 6.3 pounds. It's slim profile and 180° swivel allows it to reach tight or shallow spaces with ease.

Idk if I’m biased because this is my first cordless vacuum but this thing is amazing! Had me excited to clean! Lol and idk what my old vacuum was actually doing because by the time I got done testing this vacuum it was full! Literally pulled everything but the carpet off the floor 😂 I love the different attachments, especially the pet one! I do wish the stand it came with came with more sections to put all the attachments. It only has two holders so I had to store the other attachments else where but I mean the vacuum itself is so good I didn’t want to take a star off for that. Set up was super easy, it charges fast, small and compact so it’s not in the way. Not heavy at all and very convenient. I used it to clean out my car the other day and it was so much faster and easier then getting out that bulky car vacuum and having to pull it around. Switching attachments is also very easy. Already have family coming over trying to leave the house with it 😂

[Rewarded Review] Works well but has a smaller containment system than expected

This stick vacuum is lightweight, easy to use, works well, and is multi-functional. I’ve enjoyed using it in my home with all hardwood floors. It does vacuum up pet hair quite well, but I have noticed that I can’t vacuum more than one room before emptying it thanks to pet hair. I think anyone without pets could easily vacuum up multiple rooms with this, but my dog is part shepherd and sheds like one. So pet parents should be aware of that. The suction is also less than I thought it would be, but that is likely due to it being cordless. Overall, this works quite well for my needs and is a great addition to my household supplies.

Great for daily cleaning, all the attachments are great! Definitely not a heavy duty, all out cleaning vacuum but really helpful to grab that day to day dirt that kids and dogs bring in! We do have to charge every day or so when on turbo mode but it’s super simple to do.
