More compact than I was expecting, which is good. I haven’t connected to WiFi yet but works to switch lamps on my fish tanks.

Not exactly what it supposed to function!

I use the Kasa App to control the charge of my new laptop battery between 30% and 70%. But when the laptop is off, the App will not recognize to stop charging until 100% full, which doesn't mean what it supposed to function for. A little disappointed!

Kasa Smart Plug

Love this little gadget! Can use it via cel phone remotely for home security and also use it via Hey Google to turn on lights. Can schedule lights to come on and off and beats the old fashioned timer lights with the pins. Very handy and well priced too.

Unable to connect to new network

I had this working, but had to change my home Wi-Fi settings and password, and cannot connect to the new network. I have remove them from the Kasa app. I remove them from my Wi-Fi and factory reset them, and they still won’t connect. I always found that if there was a little bit of a problem with the Wi-Fi trying to reconnect them would be difficult.

Melted. Warning. Do not use for heaters

This was plugged directly into an recently new outlet with no other devices. Setup was reasonable. I used this sucessfully for weeks to schedule on/off of a 1500W heater. Suddenly, the plug melted. I was alerted by a burning smell. Luckily I was home as I suspect that it would have caused a fire. Have used the heater for years and still using it as it was not damaged. I had to replace the outlet. Clearly this plug was the issue. Despite comments to the contrary, do not trust this with a space heater.

Savings optimizing car block heater use

Before I used to connect the cars all night long; however no more than 2 hours should be enough; and works pretty well at wake up time at he command Hey google, turn on the “plug two”…. and viola…sorted out. You can schedule the time too Strongly recommended making my life easier

Awesome product

Easy to set up using the Kasa app. Programming on/off cycles very easy. You can turn the smart plug on or off from anywhere (feet or miles away)

Poor

I ordered it and you had none. I got my money back and ordered it again as the agent thought they should have their inventory straightened out by now but they didn’t. I still want them but I have not been informed when they will be back in stock.

Kasa smart plugs excellent

Had Globe smart plugs, one quit working so tried Kasa, really pleased, they are much easier to connect to wi-if and Alexa, and also are programmable. Much cheaper at Best Buy than on Amazon.ca.
