Doesnwhat was needed!

I have a window that provides a really bad glare against my television as they reside on opposite walls. I ordered these in gray and I installed them in the later evening that they were received. I was hopeful that they would do a good job based on the backing that I saw. When I woke up the next morning, it was to one of my children walking into the room and saying "whoa... that's amazing" and to my second child who came in and said "there is absolutely no glare on the TV" What is important to know about my room set up is that I only covered one window, and I have two other windows that are off to the side, but still service the room and it was noticeably darker and perfect. My boys were so happy to play there a PS5. I will gladly leave either an update, or a new review based on the curtains that I installed in my room. That will come in the next couple of days.

Super happy with them!

I needed a curtain for a room with west-facing windows, since when the sun moves around to that side it's really bright. These do the job wonderfully. The color is the only thing not perfect; it's more grayish-blue than the photo shows. But I'm happy with them anyway. They were wrinkled, so I tried ironing them on low heat; however, it was making tiny holes in the fabric. So I threw them in the dryer on the Quick Fluff setting for 10 minutes and that worked great.

Chemical smell is just overwhelming

I ordered these curtains despite mixed reviews and thought I would give them a chance. They arrived yesterday and I hung them last night to test out one pair. 10 minutes after I hung them the room smelled like electrical wiring was burning. I had to close the door for the night the smell was so strong. This morning I opened the door to see how they did with the morning light. I put them on a north facing window so that they wouldn’t have direct sunlight and sure enough they didn’t block much at all. They were the perfect length but between the offgassing smell, not much light blocking and the reviews on how awful the wrinkles will be to get out I will be returning them.

Set your expectations correctly

I ordered the white. Expect to press the curtains before use (I did not knock of stars for this, its to be expected). Do you want city black out or country black out curtains? These do not block out the lights outside of a window. In the country without exterior lights at night they MIGHT be ok. I ordered three times the window width in coverage AND have full blinds on the windows and these curtains still do not totally black out the light. There is a warm light glow that would allow a sleeper to get up and be able to walk around as if a light were on inside the room. These curtains are also too stiff to puddle, if that is your intent. They do seem like they will provide additional insulation, though and they were inexpensive. So probably a good value if you are not puddling the bottom and don't really care about a full black out.

Lemon Yellow Curtains

I really like these curtains! First, the cons: The color is not pastel, but more of a lemon yellow. While they darken my North facing room nicely, I wouldn't call them "blackout". Mine are yellow, so a darker color may work better for you. One photo is with my phone's flash on, the other is with it off, they were taken at 4pm and the sun is on the opposide of my house. You will probably have to iron the wrinkles out from the packaging. Now the pros: They provide some room darkening, they are true to the measurements given, you can feel a noticible temperature difference (keeps the cold out, so far) and they seem to be made of a nice sturdy fabric. Overall, I really like them and plan to keep them.

We bought these for our nursery and love them! We got the green and they have a grey tone to them but are still very much a sage green. Some of the problems other reviews mentioned I also noticed. They do have a bit of a smell to them but it seems to be fading with time. We also just painted the room and have a new chair so I'm not totally sure the smell is coming form the curtains alone. They do a pretty good job of blocking out most of the light, we have blinds in that room which helped a lot more along with a blackout style curtain rod. (the attached picture is with the blinds up) The heavy creases from packaging came out pretty easily for me with a steemer. They are ever so slightly off in length but nothing anyone else would notice. For $11 a panel I am very happy.

I bought the white curtains. The color is a true bright white which is what I needed and all panels matched. The fabric looks like a silk linen weave with a very slight sheen; much nicer looking than I expected. These look much more expensive than the price.

Great Buy

After shopping for curtain panels at several other stores, I purchased 4 pair of these for my sliding glass door. I saw them in a khaki color in the store, but they didn't have the ivory in stock so I ordered on line. The reviews of some of these people astound me! I think they expect $90 a panel curtains that cost $18 a panel. Are these lined? Yes. Do they block light? Yes. Do they have a thermal back? Yes. Will they behave like a $90 a panel curtain? No. But they do exactly what they say if you're on a budget. They were deep creased coming out of the package and I tried to iron the creases out but they wouldn't come out completely. So I threw them in my washer, cold water, delicate and they washed and dried beautifully. I am 100% happy with my purchase. As a seamstress, I picked them over with a fine tooth comb and found no flaws in the workmanship or fabric. If you don't have $400 or $500 to spend on curtains for your slider, I recommend buying 4 panels of these for around $80. They came super fast. I would recommend.

Curtians

I got the yellow curtains for my bay window. I absolutely love them. They're a wipe-able material, which is good with kids and animals! And they don't collect pet hair either which is a MUST in this house. Very reasonably priced. Exactly what I wanted. They do block out light and help regulate the temp in my livingroom since my window is so big, that's necessary. Since they are bright yellow though it's not "dark" in my living room when the sun is up. The only thing I dont like would be the top where they go onto the curtain rod. They tend to stick and yank my curtain rod down, I feel like something could've been designed differently there, that's the reason for my 4 stars, otherwise I would've given 5. My pictures indicate what they look like in full sun, and then what they look like in artificial light.

Absolutely Beautiful Hot Pink Sunblocking Curtains

These curtains are absolutely amazing if you love HOT Pink and I do!! The color from the website is absolutely true to the color in person!! These curtains absolutely do a great job in blocking out the sunlight!! And they also keep the warm/hot air out during the summer, so I’m sure in the winter months they will keep the room warm in case I have drafts through the windows. The material of these curtains are a nice heavyweight and please keep in mind the backing/sunblocking material is white! Trust me, if your into Bright/Hot Pink and want sunblocking curtains these are the Curtains for you!! You will not be disappointed!! And the price is absolutely amazing also along with the super fast shipping!! It’s an all over win-win situation!! Thanks Target!
