Easy to assemble

The 2 x 4's (sold separarely) fit perfect.

Pressure treated wood 2x4's did not fit in the slots. Had to sand off the rough plastic pieces. Directions should state that this wood could not be used without making alterations to the slots to accommodate the size of this wood. Thanks!

Bought these to finish our deck. Thought they looked a little goofy but they turned out so cute. Every beautiful thing needs that stupid thing to balance it. We love our benches and highly recommend them. They look great.

Easy to assemble,I put 6 foot 2x4 treated lumber for benches. Use 3 inch deck screws for assembly. Very comfortable benches for a 5' 10'' person. Would recommend as a great outdoor bench.

Really love this setup. I made a 5 ft bench with one set and an oversized chair with the other. Pretty easy to do . My suggestion tho would be three slats of wood on bottom and three slats of wood on the top.Its comfortable the way it is for a bench but three slats on top would of made it super nice to sit back better on the back as it would be higher. Great project and works and really looks good.

Love these! Made three benches for our desert garden walkways very quickly. I used redwood and deck screws and painted the bench ends. The benches are light but sturdy and amazingly comfortable. Great product.

Great product. Just double up on deck screws

They're good, but were quite bit wobbly when put together. Meaning, they wobble left and right. The instructions that came with the benches called for ten (10) 3.5" or 4" deck screws. That would mean you had to drill one (1) deck screw in each 2x4 that was positioned in the slot. I followed the instructions, and noticed afterwards, the benches wobbled. We were planning to donate these benches to an RV Park for around their pond. I felt they wouldn't be safe. My wife asked what if you put two (2) screws in each board. So, instead of five (5) screws on each end, we doubled up and used longer deck screws. That did the trick. The benches were sturdier and less wobbly. Would I recommend purchasing? Yes, but just double up on the screws, and use longer screws.

I bought two of these. Once I bought the 2x4s and screws as recommended, the assembly was easy. The benches look great, and are very solid. One minor complaint is that the description on the website says the benches can be up to 6 feet, while the instructions say only 5 feet. So take that into consideration.

Nice but a little low

I love the versatility of this bench. It's a bit low; I'm going to mount the edges on 4x4's to make it higher.
