Great french press
Easy to use, makes great mugs of coffee. Easy to clean
Great coffee
easy to use. makes great coffee.
Good unit. They usually have an extra screen included.
broken
I love french press coffee makers and I have had several. usually they last several years and what ends up failing on them is the screen on the plunger. however this last one that I purchased did not last as the glass container was cracked.
It works very easily and makes a quick cup of coffee.
Excellent choice
Bought it for my husband for his birthday. He's always wanted a French press. Everytime he uses it, he says: "best coffee ever?"
It doesnt seal at the top so coffee got cold quickly. Also, the mesh screen is uneven and doesn't make a clean seal all the way around so coffee grinds seep around the edges.
Broke first time using
Cheaply made
Cheaply made.
Gotta get one.
This bad boy is the only way I’ll make my morning coffee. Takes a little practice to find the right brew strength with these if you’ve never used one. The included instructions walk you through that. The only downside is you can’t use super fine ground coffee or you will have some grounds in your cup. Fine grind also blocks up the filter screen and makes it hard to push down. My first one lasted for a couple years of daily use before the screen wore out. I still use it, but the worn screen allows some grounds into the drinkable coffee. The size is big enough to fill a full size Yeti type tumbler cup with some left over. I’d say this is worth every penny if you like coffee.
I wanted to like it...
Bodum Kenya looks OK but that's it. Glass Carafe is loose in the Carrier and the Press is loose inside the Glass. Makes a mess every time. Poor quality all around. I much prefer the Bialetti or the Lagostina French Press.
It works
My first Bodum press was designed differently, and the pressure of the seal caused the plastic bottom to crack. This press doesn't have that issue.

Makes outstanding coffee! Just the right amount! Excellent product!
Buy it !
I love this French press! . It makes the best tasting coffee . Easy to use and wash !
Good product. No complaints. Makes a fine cup of coffee. I will buy again when it breaks. French presses always break.
Works great!
Works as expected. Great deal for $20 bucks for a brand French Press.
Good coffee maker, easy to use.
Bodum really does have the best french presses. We got a second one of these because we were going to be having company over and didn't want to have to wait between brewing up enough coffee for everyone. One of these brews just barely over 2 mugs of coffee. Works great and is easy to use. We still use the one we bought almost a decade ago, but it's good to have the extra for company. :) It's also easy to find replacement screen filters for it, I bought a pack online before. The glass part can go in the dishwasher, but it's very easy to clean by hand as well.
