Beautiful, soft, and fluffy wool rug but sheds bad

I ordered this rug for my master bedroom around 4 years ago. It arrived just as gorgeous as it looked online but I would recommend only buying it for a room that does not get much foot traffic because it shows where you walk and gets quite flattened down over time. It also sheds like crazy - even after all these years and regular vacuuming, I still find what looks like cotton balls all around the room on a daily basis.

This Safavieh rug is my all time favorite rug! It is so thick and lofty and everyone loves to hang out in the living room with this guy! The ivory and dark brown are good and rich.

I'm quite disappointed in this rug. I completely remodeled my new home and was so excited to get this rug to bring it all together. The photo doesn't accurately represent it and now I've got this huge rug taking over my living space. The photo makes the brown lines appear much more subtle but is actually so bold and tightly gridded that it overpowers everything in the living room. Wish I could return this but the return shipping cost will probably break the bank.

Poor quality

Hi, I wanted to love this rug it was beautiful when it first arrived but it wears very poorly and sheds profusely. I had to return it, but Overstock was very helpful with the return.

not happpy with rug

The rug is not what I had hoped for. I expected it may have some shedding, however, not to the extent that it is causing my vacuum to overheat and quit. Also, the edges are very uncomfortable to step onto. There are also some knots within the rug that are uncomfortable to step on. It is soft on the feet, however, just not happy with the amount of rug fuzz around the house and inside the vacuum.

Beautiful

Beautiful and soft. I CANNOT take the shedding. My vaccum can't pick up anymore of this hair. My kids are covered in it and my clothes are covered in it. So nice but need, ,,,,,,, To get a wool/cotton blend instead.
