Sconces are just what we were looking for. Unfortunately they were 4 days late and my notice continued to state they would be here when promised. They did make it and look good!

I originally did a search for a 'plug-in' lamp and this item showed up in my filter. Without realizing it, I ordered the item, only to find out when it arrived that it was NOT a plug-in lamp. It was of very high quality and I loved it, but had to return since it was not the right kind. To my disappointment, the return shipping was on me and was over $55. This was almost 25% of the total cost of the order, so I am sorry to say that I won't be ordering from Lumens again.

So elegant, so useful to read with. I switched from a swing arm for a more direct reading light and thought a sconce may loose the character of the room. It didn't; it added to the room. They're big enough to add depth for decor yet delicate not to overpower and stare at. I had looked for the perfect reading light and was stuck with the hotel types...in the headboards or snake arm type. This was it! A little Hollywood glam that fits in the new home that's English country. Thrilled with the purchase and the use.

THE PERFECT READING LIGHT FOR A SMALL SPACE

We used this light for the perfect cosy bunk bed light. Our grandchildren love it because they can read in bed, charge their electronics, and easily turn it off.

It fit the need.

I used 2 of this product to provide reading lights for a child's bunk bed. The product is well constructed, but I would suggest the following improvements. There are no holes or slots on the mounting plate that line up with a standard 3x2 in. Gem box. Second is that the fixture attaches to the mounting plate with 2 screws, one on each side opposite to each other. Because there is a slight gap between the fixture and the wall, the fixture has play that allows a slight rock up and down. It would be better if there were a 3rd screw and mounting tab, which would eliminate the movement.

Was looking for a compact lighting solution for my headboard. Not only are these light compact, but they produce the perfect amount of light for reading (they are dimmer ready), and they look quite modern. 5 Stars Absolutely. In addition, big fan of purchasing via Build.com, top notch customer service when needed.
