Works great for meal prep

These jars are perfect for meal prep, especially for overnight oats, chia pudding %26 Greek yogurt parfaits. The straight sides make it easy to both fill the jars and to eat out of them

NICE JARS

Nice jars, GLASS, clean easily, canning, freezer,dry storage, dishwasher safe. 4 of them fit in my yogurt machine at a time. Also store homemade ice cream in them. Very HANDY.

I realized that I had been rotateing the same group of plastic for 15 years to hold my filtered water. I knew that I couldn't keep on putting micro plastics inside of me. So I changed to glass food prep dishes and Canning jars from 1/2 gallon down to 8 oz jars.

DEFECTIVE LIDS for CANNING

The lids do not seal. This batch is from 2020 when the company used inferior quality lids that are defective. This is widely known. The glass jars and rings are ok. Just be aware that you'll need to purchase lids separately to replace the defective lids. I recommend ForJars lids. They seal every time. The time and energy one put into canning is wasted when the Kerr/Ball lids do not provide a safe seal.

Canning Jars

I was surprised that they were delivered to my house as I did a Walmart pickup that morning. I know the store had them. But that is fine. It is canning Season and I always buy my jars from Walmart.

Solid quality

I have no complaints except that the inside of the cans smell really weird at first. So regardless of what you’re using them for, make sure to give em a good rinse.

Perfect for Canning or Freezing Small Portions.

Freezer-safe, they are perfect for small leftovers, storing individual potions/snacks that are easily microwavable after removing metal lids and/or eating direct from the "small bowl." These are also wonderful for canning jellies, jams, preserves and small portions. As a single person I like to freeze or can individual portions of soups and vegetables for a warm-up.

No Damage, Great for Overnight Oats

Arrived without any damage, which after reading other reviews I was worried. Maybe it helped that I ordered food items too which were packed with it and the whole box was secure, or maybe it was just the delivery handlers didn't bash it around too much. Every jar was fine, and wide mouth is working great for overnight oats!

WON'T SEAL, MOST ARRIVED BROKEN

I PURCHASED 6 CASES. I'VE BEEN PROFESSION ALLYFOR OVER 50 YEARS. I'VE USED KERR BEFORE AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. MANY OF THE JARS WERE BROKEN INSIDE THE BOXES WHICH WERE HAND DELIVERED, NOT SHIPPED. TODAY I SPENT ALL DAY CANNING UP DAIKON AND CARROT PICKLES FOR BAHN MI SANDWICHES. NOT A ONE SEALED. NONE OF THEM..

Perfect portion size

I recently started making my own yogurt and wanted to have some smaller portion containers to add a little fruit and granola. I have a vacuum sealer too so this helps with portion control on snacks and can just grab and go as I please

Perfect dessert cups!

These are the perfect size for desserts. I used them to make Italian Budino and it was just the right size. Not too much and not too little. Everybody loves them!

Great little multiple use jars

My delivery was good. No broken bones, lol. I am imagining all types of ways to use these besides the cranberry compote I bought them for as gifts. Better than the other major brand by far IMHO.

Perfect jars

I use these jar to make delicious desserts and they are perfect. Nice thick glass and thick tops. I also freeze desserts in these jars, as well as boil in these jars and have never had an issue, ever.

Dissatisfied

This was the absolute worst experience i have ever had. Honestly the worse shopping experiences i have had have been at this Walmart. The staff are mostly incompetent, lazy and rude. In this situation i placed order at 11 am. First it was reserved for 3-4 then it switched to 6-7 i first arrived at 4 was told ir was being workec on so should be ready by 5 but could not promise until 6 . i came back at 6 and was told they were behind and it mught be ready by 9 . i waa frustrated but said iwould come in the morning. I called at 7:30 pm to swe if by chance it was readybecause i had someone that could pick up. At that point i was told that the picker had put in that there were no jars i said i know there are. The guy Jaxon said there were jars but because the picker put it in that there were none they were cancelled. i waa then told that thevpicker substituted the mango for pineapple. I said no they are not the same. At that point i said no i dont want anything. That they had wasted my whole day. I asked them to cancel. Then i was told no they couldnt that i had to. i said cant because you have not processed the order. i later went to Target and bouggr all the items

Will do the job but not happy with jars.

Jars had visible seams and bubbles in them. Had to weed out best and that left not enough for gifts. So had to decide who gets flawed jars. Will do the job but will not buy again.

Inconsistent Opening Slope

I really like the short wide mouth configuration as opposed to the taller standard mouth 8 oz. jars, but the opening size doesn't consistently allow for the use of fermentation weights, which is what I bought them for. Only one of the jar/weight combos worked. I used glass weights with the center knob, will try other types.

Very Disappointing

The young man who delivered the package just threw it on my porch! I heard glass and metal clanging!

Great Jars, Hard to find.

Typically, the smaller jars are designed for jelly. However, the wider mouth jars can hold small amounts of sauces in the freezer with the straight sides reducing risk of breaking. It is also much easier to get all the contents out. Food can be served directly in the jars and they are great for serving dips and sauces too.

Great Canned Chicken

I use this chicken make sandwiches and soups, and occasionally for feeding my dog when I don't feel like cooking (yes, I make all of his food). I would not recommend feeding this chicken regularly to your dog because there is added sodium in this brand. Dogs can have serious health issues if they consume too much sodium. I like buying the case online because it always comes in perfect condition (meaning no dented cans), is more economical, and is easy to store in the pantry.
