Best Sleep Ever!

The Tempur-Adapt Split King mattress is great. We went from a regular queen Tempur-Pedic mattress to a Split King so we could stop arguing about who's hogging more of the bed & my husband didn't have to suffer with damp bed sheets from my night sweats. The Split King is the perfect solution. And no new mattress smell at all. Received "White Glove" set up from their delivery contractor. Super nice guys who set it up lickety-split, even helped move the old heavy solid oak queen bed frame down to the garage with no hesitation. Really love the Tempur-Pedic beds. Ever since trying out our first bed, we've had the best sleep ever!

Comfortable mattress but "smart" base a disaster

Mattress is comfortable. However, we paid about $300 more for the "smart" version base...but the app keeps going out...and, when it "works", the readings are questionable at best. We've tried moving our router satellites to different places and the "readings" show very strong signals in the bedroom...but the base continually becomes disconnected. And, even when we get it connected and it appears to stay connected through the night, it shows us as achieving sleep well short of reality or, in some cases actually longer than reality. And the readings appear random at best. And, of course, every time the app goes out, I cannot use my iPhone as a remote and only one remote comes with the base so only my wife can control it. Never should have opted for this "upgrade".

I love this mattress. I'll only ever buy Tempur-pedic

I love this mattress. I bought it to replace my 20 year old Tempur-pedic mattress after testing a new mattress at a relative's home and realizing mine had lost some comfort over the last 20 years. Even 20 years old, it was still comfortable and I was content with it, but I realized a new mattress would be even better and even more comfortable, so I replaced it with a new one.

Comfortable

The mattress is good. It's pretty comfortable. Im a side sleeper and my shoulders and hips have issues it seems. However, the adjustable base helps some with that. I don't think the "cooling" stuff in the mattress cover does anything, especially after you put a mattress protector and a fitted sheet on top of it. Ours doesn't have much "cooling" stuff and I'm glad as I think paying more for stuff you're hiding under layers of cloth would be a waste of money.

Cause chronic pain that didn't arise until after the trial

At first this seemed like an amazing mattress, my wife and I were excited and enjoyed having a "high quality" mattress for the first time in our lives. A few months passed, the trial period went by, and all was well, until, slowly but surely, my wife started to experience chronic pain. This bed has cause my wife to not only have pain every night when she sleeps, but also while she's away from the bed during the day. She now has occipital neuralgia, chronic hip, back, arm, and leg pain. None of which were present before this bed, and all of which have gotten worse the more she sleeps on it. She now has tried countless things to treat the pain, from something as simple as new pillows and a mattress pad, all the way to getting nerve blocks. But it all comes back to the fact that as long as she's sleeping on this bed, nothing will fix the pain. Normally we'd just initiate a return and try another option, no harm no foul, but with the short trial period (other companies offer year long trial periods) tempurpedic said there was nothing they could do (we all know that isn't true). I just reached out again, a few months after my first inquiry, because, again, the pain has just gotten worse, but I'm also again not too hopeful. Unfortunately the amount that these mattresses cost makes it unfeasible for us to get a new mattress, especially since it won't be paid off for another 2.5 years. I'm writing this review to make people aware that the trial period is not nearly long enough to determine if a mattress (that you could spend a decade plus sleeping on) is right for you. And if you go past that trial period tempurpedic will wash their hands of you, no matter what, so you better hope nothing arises.

Short mattress life; Good delivery service

I really enjoyed the delivery service available. The set up and haul off service is great. The medium hybrid mattress held its structure for a year but shortly thereafter it gradually descended into a state of multiple sags and indentations. I checked to ensure I had the proper frame and foundation for their hybrid mattresses. Unfortunately, the manufacturer denied any warranty claims since they did not manufacture the foundation or bed frame. This detail is not currently listed in the warranty. My last hybrid mattress from another manufacturer lasted ten years. For the price, a year of use is not economical compared to other options.
