Sub-quality Merchandise

I recently bought the Beautyrest Waffle Weave Cotton Blanket via Macy's online. Upon receipt, it looked fine. I laundered it, as I do with all bedding, before use. After it was dry, I started to fold it, and noticed that two corners were completely frayed. It used to be that Macy's provided top-quality merchandise, but obviously that's no longer the case.

Normally I don't write a 5-star review until I've had something for awhile, and can speak to how well it holds up over time. But in this case, I'm doing it anyway! Bought this as a layering blanket to go under a new quilt set (also from BB&B) and I have to say I'm really impressed with this. It was soft and luxurious right out of the package, true to color in the listing, washed well and came out even softer without looking ratty, and didn't leave my dryer lint trap filled with fluff. Very good price considering the quality of this 100% cotton blanket. The reason I'm layering this UNDER the quilt is so that my cats' claws don't get caught on it and rip it to shreds. If I can avoid that, I expect to enjoy this lovely aqua blanket for many years to come. I only wish I had more bedrooms to redecorate, because I'd love to get one of these in all the different pastel colors for every bed in the house! Very happy with this purchase, and I highly recommend it.

Breathable Cotton‼️

Great cotton blanket. I ordered a king size for my queen sized bed. It may have been the standard size, but the king just barely fit with about ten inches draped on each side. When you have a deep pocket mattress, standard blanket sizes aren’t wide enough. And, this is before being washed and dried. You just know it will shrink, regardless of cold water and cool drying. After all this, I really do like this blanket.

Beautiful color, nice addition to decor

The quilt is accurately sized and appears to be well-made. I appreciate the color, which is consistent with the online image. The design is straightforward and adds a pleasant pop of color to the bedding. However, I personally find the material and texture to be lacking. It is not as soft as I would prefer and feels thin. Despite this, I intend to keep it as a decorative piece.

Exactly what we needed.

This blanket is a well-made, quality blanket that is a size that works for our California King bed. Now my husband and I don't have to worry that one of us is going to end up with no blanket during the night! The cotton fabric is lighter weight than other blankets I have, and also "breathes", so I don't feel like I'm suffocating under the covers. I'm a happy camper!

It's soft, and comfortable to the touch. Seems to be holding up well against my dog's claws, too. The king size one isn't quite long enough to hit the floor, but does cover the mattress on all sides and is big enough I'm not fighting my husband for it.

I am quite impressed with this king size blanket. My husband and I needed a large blanket to share on our oversized couch, and this works perfectly! This blanket is very lightweight. I really like the color waffle pattern, as well! I would recommend this cool sleeping blanket for everyone, especially the hot natured people like me 😊

A dream blanket!

The sides most plush blanket ever. It keeps my husband and I warm yet is breathable enough to not be overly hot during the summer. It’s so big and easily fits the both of us! The best snuggle blanket ever!!!

Beautiful blanket

I love the look of this Beautyrest blanket, and it's a perfect size for my king-size bed. The color is a serene blue-green, and the waffle weave adds some interest. It's the perfect weight blanket for Florida. I also appreciate that it's 100% cotton, but it's not that soft because of the texture. It washes beautifully and is wrinkle free. I'm hoping it softens up a little with additional washes. But, even if it doesn't, I still love it. Recommend.
