As expected Eddie Bauer has created another amazing Product. I have to have all cotton products due to allergies with pine tar, and polyester. So his products always work well with my cabin and Manhattan theme The price was great for such amazing quality

Perfect for a boy's room- not as good quality as eddie baur used to be

I love the crisp feel of the duvet. My son loves the plaid pattern for his room. We’ve had an Eddie Bauer duvet cover for my son’s room for about 5 years and it has held up great! The quality of this one seems less than that of the old one- this duvet cover has slimmer, less sturdy seam stitching and it is also missing the corner ties! I’ve never had a duvet cover without ties to hold the duvet in place

It looks flannel, but it is not. It is just printed on the fabric. There are no ties to hold the insert in place which is pretty standard in duvet covers. It has the Eddie Bauer name, but lacks the Eddie Bauer quality. It does function so I guess that is worth 2 stars.

This comforter set has endured the test of time! I purchased it over a year ago and put it on my spare bedroom bed and which my grandkids sleep on. The quality of this comforts that is awesome. I really appreciate the stitching that matches up the plaid’s of the fabric! You don’t see that much anymore. The internal feeling has stayed right where it supposed to stay even after multiple washings very good comforter set would highly recommend it.

Nice crisp fabric and clear print. The duvet inside slides from side to side, too much during the night. I ended up removing it, and am using the cover as if a bedspread to match the pillow shams. I'll come up with something to fasten the duvet inside, as this is my only complaint.

Beautiful! Aside from trimming a few loose threads, the comforter set is perfect!

I’m a retired financial worker from an Irish American all green eyes family. Two of my older brothers married women with blue eyes and two older brothers married women with brown eyes. I was never approved by woman seeking benefits from my Dad and me in brokerage accounts and never married. It is sad that no one married a green eyed person like my mom and dad. Green eyes look good with khaki and the reverse is navy blue with enough tan or red to please brown eyed people. I like it!

Disappointingly stiff and wrinkled

I have never ironed my duvet covers but this Port Gamble duvet cover comes out SO wrinkled I just had to iron it. If I had known how miserably wrinkled it was going to be after washing and drying I would have returned it. I do NOT recommend it unless you love to iron. I thought it would soften up after washing and drying but it is still very stiff. Not comfy at all. Also turned out to be more blue than taupe so I'm not crazy about the color either. Very disappointing.

Packed in a small, small plastic container that guarantees wrinkles, wrinkles and more wrinkles. It makes a nice comforter look cheap and inexpensive. Whoever decided to package this product like this should be in the unemployment line. Terrible! Shame on you, Eddie Bauer for sending this out like this. There’s no way to get the wrinkles out so your bed will look like hell! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!

0 stars. The pattern does not resemble what is pictured, or even described. Description says, "a rugged palette of dusted indigo, saddle and putty neutrals, and an accent of scarlet," which somehow is supposed to mean a vibrant orange and purpose. I'm profoundly disappointed with this purchase, and I don't think I can count on descriptions for future purchases. The worst part is that I am now outside the return window despite just now seeing it in real life (I live overseas and had to ship it to my parents in the U.S). I speak 3 languages and cannot communicate the depth of my dissatisfaction with this purchase in any of them. Thanks Wayfair.

I love the colors and it seemed true to the picture in My opinion. However I wasn't too crazy about the feel it had a little bit of a plasticky feel I'm hoping that when I wash it it will improve. it is 100% cotton so it may get much softer, hopefully. In any case I bought two of these for two twin beds and it DOES look fantastic very neutral but with Just the right amount of style.Very pleased to have purchased this 3 piece comforter set. The set itself is of excellent quality and the thickness is perfect for year round use. Love the colors!

Not what I was expecting

The colors on this quilt were very dull, I guess would be the best way to describe it. In the online picture, there appeared to be red lines running through the blue plaid. The blue was not navy but a dull gray/blue, and the red line was more orange. The contrasting side looked nicer than the main side. The fabric was not a nice cotton, but more stiff and cheap feeling. My husband said it looked like an Eddie Bauer sleeping bag on the bed, so I returned it.

Shams thin but comforter decent quality

Bought this for our master bedroom. As a woman, I hate florals & lean toward what guys like as in plaids & leather. The shams are very thin but the comforter will be good for the summer months & that is what I bought it for. Did expect a little better quality from Eddie Bauer but it will work until I can put my luxurious goose down back on the bed in the winter. Also, I do like the non-solid color reverse/back (looked at a lot of blue/green plaids that are solid blue on the reverse, aka...white dog hair magnet) so ultimately why I chose this set. If you want something decent, this will work. If looking for luxurious, look elsewhere. I did read on one review that it had fold lines out of the package and suggested dryer with wet towel. Wasn't really needed but I did anyway to freshen with a dryer sheet. ETA: The colors: the darker blue is a medium smoky blue and even though I said blue/green above, the reverse & lines on front is a very light olive green, leaning more tan than greenish.

Color is true to photo. Luff on comforter recovers within 12 hours. Comforter cresies take longer. If you have the ability to hang the comforter in a steam environment for a bit really helps. Sham covers fit perfect in standard pillow size. Fit on a queen size mattress is great. I would consider to follow the cleaning instructions right out of the package to take care of all the concerns. A tradition print that goes well most colors in a bedroom. If you have a foot board, the look diminish a bit.

I wanted a comforter set that my husband would like AND would fit our oversized king mattress. This one fits perfectly, and the colors were as represented in the photo. As other reviewers noted, it is terribly wrinkled when unpacked, so I ran it through the dryer to see if that would help. While it didn't seem to make much difference, it did fluff up the comforter. I was disappointed with the pillow shams, however; they have virtually no border -- just a narrow 1/2 inch edge. Because the comforter seems to be just what I was looking for, I'm keeping it, but will probably add a strip of solid fabric to the sham edge to give them a nicer finish.
