Quilt came with stains twice

I was very excited to receive this quilt. It looked beautiful in the pictures and was exactly what I was looking for. When it arrived, I noticed small black stains covering the bottom half of the quilt. I returned it and was sent a new one. The second quilt was also discolored, and the stitching was very messy. I really wanted to like this quilt, but it did not work out for me.

Great feel and quality

This product is so soft and nice! When I first opened the package and felt the bedspread, it felt like butter. It feels well made while also not being too thick. A great bedspread especially for the summer. The color is also beautiful. I love anything blue so this color ties in nicely in my room. Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the bedspread is larger than an average queen size bedspread as I prefer a lot of overlap on the sides and front of the bed. I put this set in my guest room, and it goes great with my furniture and decor! It's high quality and soft right out of the package, and it held up well during washing. I air dried it because I don't like putting hea y bedding in the dryer. I would love to get this set in different colors for my other rooms!

I think this bedspread is beautiful. Very well made with a lovely pattern and creamy color. The only negative is that the spread is not long enough on the sides. I thought it would almost reach the floor but it only goes half way. I'm had wanted this spread so I could remove the dust ruffle, which is a pain in the neck. Now I still have to contend with the ever shifting dust ruffle but will keep the bedspread because it still looks lovely.

I have purchased several bedspreads for our high beds. This one is my absolute favorite. It looks great on the bed and is long enough to cover the mattress and box springs. I have had several friends admire it and ask me where I bought it. I added tone on tone decorative throw pillows for a classy look. It washes and dries well. I will probably order again.

I was so excited when I saw the Seafoam Green color! Usually the seafoam color turns out to be too grey or green, but this color is perfect. The size of the bedspread is a true king which is also difficult to find. The set comes with a bedspread and two matching pillow shams. The bedspread it self is perfect for the spring and summer weather as it is on the lighter side. I always wait to write reviews on items that get washed since this is important to me. After washing the bedspread, there was no shrinking and the seams held up very well. Madison Park has produced a beautiful and well made bedding set. I highly recommend.

Amazing quality

The quality of this bedspread is so good. The stitching is tight and done so well. The pattern is nice and the blanket is thick and lush for a quilt. The color is SEAFOAM and I love how cool toned it makes my bedroom. I ordered a King size and this blanket hits the floor on all sides! I love having a blanket so extra! Good quality so far

While I found that this quilt was not for me, I think the quality was good. Material quality if fair, about what you'd expect of a firm cotton. The color is a little more on the yellow side of cream, which is why it doesn't work for my room. What I did love is the size. The quilt is large enough to look nice without a bedskirt and to keep 2 people comfortably covered who fought for blankets during the night.

lovely bedspread

I've been thoroughly enjoying this king sized reversible bedspread from Madison Park! It is a beautiful shade of a muted sage green (and is true to the described/promised color). The subtle pattern on it is delicate and pretty but is not too "loud" or over-the-top; the pattern is on both sides of the blanket so you can flip it either way. It's a cozy blanket that keeps you warm enough but does not overheat you whatsoever, and is a great blanket for layering - it's perfect for all seasons!

Great as to be expected from JC Penneys, but...

Bought this spread to replace a Penney's spread from a few years ago. It is the same great quality, attractive color, etc. but it was not near as long on the sides as my previous spread. Had high hopes because of some mention of long sides in the reviews but it is close to a foot too short on each side. Granted my bed is a little bit high, but not that high!! Will keep but was disappointed with the width.

Just got this quiltcoverlet set in white (king size) I am very happy with it. It is just as described and very oversized compared to most king coverlets. I wanted one that was a bit oversized to hang down lower and this is perfect. It is fairly thin, like a true quilt which is exactly what I wanted. We do not like heavy blankets for sleeping so this is great. I washed it before I put it on the bed and it came out beautifully.. put in the dryer too. No issues. Can’t speak for quality over time but I am very pleased with the purchase.

bedspread will not disappoint.

another 5 star rated product. the bedspread received is very true to color. the spread is machine quilted and done perfectly. washed and dried it on low upon arrival and it came out wrinkle free. it does have some heaviness to it which i like. the weight also gives some added warmth - helps with those cold new england winter nights and i can keep my heating bill a bit lower.

Great oversized, khaki is more mushroom than photo

I love the size of this bedspread, it goes to the ground and covers the mechanics below my adjustable king bed (dual, so 2 twins), which keeps me from having to get an adjustable friendly bed skirt that may not work great with the regular movement. I will say the color was off from the photo, I ordered khaki and the photo makes it look like a golden tan (camel), but it is more of a mushroom. I like that color, unfortunately it does not match my room, so I can't use it in my Master as planned.

Perfect for Senior's twin bed

True bedspreads, that reach to the floor and have enough fabric to include a pillow tuck are hard to find. This bedspread covers 2 stacked sleeping pillows that I require... and leaves the sham covered pillow free to be the decorative touch. This Madison Park Mansfield was perfect for my twin with a 26" drop (and could probably suit a somewhat higher foundation as well). The Seafoam green was as depicted in the color choices. I am totally pleased with this purchase, the quality of the material and the speed with which it was delivered. And SO HAPPY that I don't have to deal with a bedskirt anymore!

The Perfect base to build on

I am using this bedspread as a coverlet and love it. I wanted a textured background to put my shams and pillow s and quilt on my king size bed. I am not using it for warmth. I personally like that is very thin and flat. It is a bit more taupe color than ivory if you are shopping but I could not use white. I am happy with my purchase and it's hard to find this size elsewhere. I like the shams that came with it but I have colored ones I'm using now. But, they are nice and I may use them elsewhere.

This is a lovely quilted bedspread. The day it came I had just come back from a county quilt show. This quilt would have looked like it belonged on display as a whole cloth quilt. The fabric is soft, but has good body. The quilting is exquisite. The size is larger than most quilts in a commercial quilt set, so I can drape it to the floor on one side and the bottom. That makes the quilt a bit shorter on the opposite wall, however I am the only one who can see that. That side is still longer than most commercial quilt sets. My husband, whose mom was a quilter, is a good judge of a quilt and he is impressed by the quality.

I love this quilt so much I bought two! I got a Seafoam for my king bed and the Grey for my queen guest room bed. It's so soft and lightweight yet warm enough for me this time of year in Michigan. But I know it will be fine for summer too. Its is big, and thats what I've been wanting. It goes all the way to the floor on both beds, no need for a skirt. One suggestion I have for those that said it was way too big, you can't just go by king, or queen, etc. Always look at the measurements and then measure the one you have now to compare it so you'll get the right size. The thickness of the mattress and the height of the bed need to be considered too. You definitely will not be disappointed in the quality.

The Bedspread

After reading the reviews on this bedspread,I decided to order and try for myself. We just purchased a new king bedroom set and needed a bedspread to go with it. I love it the reviews that talked poorly about it, I really don't understand why. This is lovely. I grew up with bedspreads, and you really can not find them anymore. This fits all over the bed, no need for a bed skirt. it's long enough, it's not too heavy, the color mocha matched the bedroom set. it didn't move when sleeping. I am thinking about ordering another one in another color just to have. I really prefer a bedspread over a comforter or a coverlet. Don't like being cold but don't like being hot when sleeping. To me, I really have no complaints. I love it. I wish they had more colors than what they show. My husband especially likes it,and that's what really matters most.
