I struggle to commit but so glad my first real commitment was this mattress !!!!

It's so hard for me to commit to anything !! Let's start there I spent hours trying to determine if I was ready to commit to purchasing a new mattress. I randomly stoped into the Grand Opening. My sleep expert was great, patient and gave me all the info I needed to make my decision. I left for about 45 mins and returned to make the purchase. I do Love this mattress it's the perfect combination of comfort and firmness. I'm coming from a firm memoryfoam to the Sealy Hybrid it's perfect no saggy sides you can feel the top conform to you body when you lay down. I am a side sleeper with a lot of arthritis and medical issues and I'm on week 3 now and it's exactly what I needed. I do have an adjustable base but if you don't the thickness of this mattress is incredible . I also see a huge difference in the cooling effect compared to my last mattress. I am using the bed gear mattress cover and their bamboo sheets and I see a difference with my night sweats. I give this a 20 out of 10!!! I rely on reviews when making purchases so I am making sure to be as honest as I can be to help you make a choice when shopping for your next mattress. I hope you enjoy as much as I do! Set volume to your alarms on high for the first week you won't want to leave your bed!!! Less

Beware!!!!

The mattress is so hard. I have had a really bad experience with the customer service. I haven't had a good night sleep since I got it. Tried to return it but i would have been out alot of money because of the 20% restocking fee and another $100.00 for them to pick it up. The first mattress didn't have a state tag so after 30ish days they had to deliver another. I had a family emergency and left someone there to oversee and it had a tear on the underside of the mattress about 1" and so they would not take it back. Called and left messages until i just got fed up. Guess i have to just suck it up buttercup. Please, if you are a side sleeper, have arthritis, tendinitis, or bursitis listen, the bed seems okay in the store but when you get it home its not! I was told it took the one in the store a year to get that soft after I got it home and called them because I thought i got the wrong mattress. Less

A mattress for a guy who has ALL the sleep issues

Normally I have to drug myself to fall asleep and then I toss and turn and snore all night long leaving myself tired AF most the time until I bought this mattress. I'm not saying that this mattress is for everyone, but I will say I have two bulging disc, one herniated disc, shoulder and neck problems from a car injury and I have to sleep on my side in order to feel at least halfway functioning the next day... And the whole litany of other things that I used to have to do before getting this mattress. Answering the questions of the salesman he said it better than I can I've got an issue with everything. I was on a budget and in a rush so I did not spend a lot of time listening to what the salesman had to say I gave him a list of my criteria my budget and told him to start showing me what fits in that realm based on his knowledge. I looked at several mattresses before deciding to get this one. I know it says it's a firm mattress but it's a firm mattress that swallows you like a plush mattress. As it envelops you it also supports you so you get The Firm support with the soft gentle feel of a plush. My partner and I both tend to get hot in bed causing us to sweat I have noticed a dramatic difference in that issue as well. She says she hasn't woken up sweaty yet I have woken up sweaty on two different occasions but I think I was ill. I could go on and on and on but I think this is plenty for you to understand this mattress is definitely worth looking into. Less

Firm, Yet Gentle

Heads up: turnaround time from purchase to delivery ran me about three weeks, which was uncomfortably long. Scheduling delivery was done via e-mail link, not phone call. Carrier was swift and courteous. Haul-away of old mattress strongly recommended. Be sure to take a picture of your new mattress tag and/or scan the QR code upon delivery before you cover with mattress protector and/or fitted sheet so you can register your purchase for warranty at manufacturer’s website.

Top of the Line Sealy Worth Every Penny!

We were looking for something to replace our ?flow tube? design waterbed which served us well for 30+ years. We set a budget limit of $2 000 - $2500 and ruled out ?bed-in-a-box? options that we couldn?t try before buying. We tested a lot of hybrid models and came across the Sealy Posturepedic Plus Hybrid 14? High Point Soft (Plush). We both liked the way the mattress conformed to let our hips sink in a bit while still feeling very supported. As the top of the line in their hybrid line Sealy incorporated a lot of advanced features into the cover and foam layers which you can read about in the literature if you?re interested. I can say that with a cooling protective mattress cover it does not sleep hot. We have a traditional headboard and frame so we replaced our 8? box spring with a 4? foundation so feet could touch the floor when sitting on the edge of the 14? mattress (which required purchasing deep pocket fitted sheets as well). The mattress itself is on the softer side of medium firmness (a 6 on scale where 10 is softest). The foam layers dampen the responsiveness somewhat - It is definitely not ?bouncy?. As a result isolation is excellent as we don?t disturb each other when we change sleeping positions. I find changing sleeping positions isn?t as easy as it was on our waterbed but is okay. One complaint about these hybrids in general is that most lack handles so moving/lifting the mattress (109 lb. in Queen size) is a bit unwieldy. Most of those reviews complaining about gassing relate to the early versions of predecessor models like the Silver Chill Hybrid. So whatever off-gassing or odors may have existed appear to have been resolved with the Sealy Posturepedic Plus Hybrid line? we slept on the bed the day it was delivered. So seven weeks in we?ve both been sleeping very well. The reality is there is no one perfect mattress and there are likely several that will work for you. We are happy with our purchase and we think it?s a keeper as it works for us (so far). If you?re an average or lightweight side sleeper or a former waterbed owner you might want to give it (or the Purple 4 Premier Hybrid if you can afford it) a try. We also had a recent stay at a rental where there we slept on a Nectar 13? foam mattress which was also very comfortable in that it felt similar to our Sealy. Less
