Diamond-Stitched Organic Cotton Comforter Full/Queen

I recently purchased the Queen Diamond-Stitched Organic Cotton Comforter and am very pleased with it. I wanted a bed cover that was not heavy for the warmer nights but enough to keep you comfortable. I am impressed with the quality and the way the comforter looks on the bed. There is ample material to hang over the sides and good length at the end of the bed. Full/Queen is definitely not 'skimpy'. I have other sets of Coyuchi bedding and the quality never disappoints.

Breathable and soft

I just got this organic quilt and I’m very happy with it. I get occasional night sweats with menopause and this really takes care of it and breathes. I paired it with the linen sheets and linen then blanket by the same brand. I like to have some weight on me and this fits the bill.

Top quality, but a bit warm

extremely well-made. Came out of the washing machine in the dryer perfect. I only gave it four stars because the description indicate this is a summer blanket, but it’s far heavier and warmer than other blankets I have.

Happy with it!

I love the color, and the weight and breathability are as advertised. Highly recommend. The only thing I did not consider (this is not on Coyuchi) is our cats. They seem to like the tight weave, and push their nails through it leaving little holes. So if you have cats, I recommend covering it up with a blanket you don’t care about when not sleeping in it.

Fabulous Warm Blanket

This is a fabulous blanket that is super warm. Much warmer than expected. No need for down. No need for polyester. This cotton comforter allows me to have a truly ethical blanket for the winter without the cruelty of down and the not-so-environmentally friendly polyester. It is fabulous.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

This comforter is amazing. It's soft, the ginger color is gorgeous, it looks fantastic on my bed. I walk by my bedroom and just glow with joy. I am addicted to Coyuchi. I'm in San Diego and it's summer. I sleep with the windows open and this is the perfect weight to prevent drafts from hitting my skin, but not at all hot. Just perfect.

Great! Soft and comfy.

I would recommend this product to my friends. The blanket is very soft and actually was good for washing machine. I like it very much.

Heavenly!!!

This cotton quilt is an A+ 100%! Its to hard to find a lightweight cotton quilt with actual cotton batting inside. This one is top notch. The perfect summer quilt for New England. It's lightweight and breathable while still feeling lofty and cozy. The morning after the first night we used this blanket my husband and I woke up and both said 'I love this blanket!". The size is a little annoying since I can't seems to find a duvet cover from any other companies that fit this one. Even so, I'm fine just buying the matching cover here. But it's a bummer that none of the other covers I have will fit it. Otherwise perfect. Love the beautiful spicy ginger color!

I love Coyuchi values and other products

I love Coyuchi's high standard quality and values, but this is really heavy, and it takes a whole day to dry - I bought the queen size, dried it on delicate (low), then permanent press (3 cycles), then air'dried it hanging on a rack in the laundry room (85 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 hours while the rest of the house's AC is turned on) and finally just "bedding setting" which is medium heat in the dryer. After all that's it's still damp. We bought this for a thinner blanket in the summer but our thick winter blanket feels lighter than this. This is the most expensive and most regretted bedding purchase I ever made.

Quilted Cotton Duvet

I’ve purchased three of these wonderful covers over the last decade or more..My husband is allergic to down, and for ethical reasons, I don’t buy down. My only complaint, but I now see corrected: you added a NEW color! And I happen to love it. Also, others might relate: I must rely on dry cleaning to machine wash the covers due to their size. That adds up significantly.. you know, pets on the bed? Still, we love the y/round comfort. Great for “hot” sleepers.

Too heavy causes shoulder pain

This is a beautiful quilt, But since purchasing it I have had extreme shoulder pain on the side I sleep from its weight, it has caused a pinched nerve that is so excruciating I have gone to urgent care and spent tons of time crying until I figured out what was causing it. For reference I am very petite and have tiny shoulders. I finally removed it from my bed and since then the pain is completely gone....I did weigh it with the duvet on and it weighs 16 pounds which is the same weight as a occuptional weighted blanket for a much larger person than me. If youre looking for something heavy that is well constructed I do recommend it but beware if youre petite, have chronic pain already or intend to put it on a childs bed. Unfortunately I am past my return window and stuck with it. I do love my sheets and coyuchi overall is an amazing brand Im sorry to leave this review

Random Sizing and No Customer Service

I received my quilt today. This is my 4th quilt by Coyuchi. While I love the overall feel and the quality of the products, the sizing for this product has been an issue for years. I've used 2 previously purchased quilts (old version of the same) without any duvet cover, so never had an issue with the wrong size. The 3rd one I purchased, I wanted to fit into a duvet cover and it would not fit as it was 2 inches too wide and 6 inches too long. So I ended up getting a full/queen size duvet cover, which of course is too big. I don't know what to make of the sizing. It's not twin, it's not full, it's not queen, just random. There were quite a few reviews regarding wrong sizing on the previous version of this quilt and now that it's new and "improved", I was hoping the issue is finally solved. Obviously it's still there. The customer service is also not here to help. I've been trying to call and the phone never gets answered. The chat is just an automated system answering frequently asked questions. The products are so expensive and after spending money, I can't even get a human being to talk to regarding an issue with my product.

I'm so glad that I

I'm so glad that I bought this. I wavered a bit because of the price, but realize that the quality makes it worth it. It is very thick so it's good for winter, we have a fleece blanket and a sheet under it and sometimes I feel like I'm a bit too warm. So I might have to play with what blanket goes under it. It has a good weight, so that feels nice. It's pretty thick and sturdy, it feels a bit stiff. It will probably become softer with washes. The color is a nice solid gray. The fabric feels really durable and of high quality. I'm so glad! Thanks Coyuchi. If I can afford to buy from you again, I will!

This is my second one

This is my second one that I bought. I like it because it fits inside my duvet cover so I don't have to wash it very often. It is fairly heavy and I use the first one alone on the bed. This second one I bought to use on top of a heavy winter comforter for one family member who is always cold. He loved the warmth when it got below freezing this week. As the weather changes I plan to use it with a blanket or a lighter comforter to provide various levels of warmth as needed.

Well made and luxurious

This is a really nice comforter. It’s a nice thickness to give the bed a bit of “puff” which I like. I thought it would be less insulating than down, because I live in the southeast US where is is very hot and humid. We set out thermostat to 69-71 every night and unfortunately I still found this to be too warm and also too heavy, like when changing positions in the middle of the night it was frustrating for me to maneuver. If you sleep cool or live in a cooler climate or sleep through the night without having to readjust, I think you’ll really enjoy this lovely comforter.

Warm, high quality, comfortable

I bought this comforter several weeks ago to replace an extremely old "traditional" comforter. I live on the east coast where we have cold winters and hot summers, and I wanted a comforter I could use year-round. It was important to me to purchase something all-cotton that was well made so the batting wouldn't shift. I was really interested in the double-stitched comforter Coyuchi used to have on their site but it was no longer available by the time I found out about the brand. I purchased the full/queen size for my full bed. This comforter is HUGE, definitely closer to queen sized, but still is fine on my bed (I just have a lot of it tucked under the mattress/up against the wall). I washed it on cold/gentle in my washer and did a few rounds in my dryer with no heat and low heat, and also hung it to dry for a few hours. It appears to be very well-made in the stitching. I find it to be very comfortable and warm - even though it feels thinner than a traditional comforter, it definitely does the job and strikes the balance between heat retaining and breathable (though I am also using it with fleece sheets and 2 blankets on top - but that's what I would do with my old comforter in the winter too). It seems like it will last for a long time which is good considering the price! It also does have some little tabs in the corners if you did want to use a duvet cover with it. My only complaint about this comforter is it collects lint like no other. If you are looking to replace a traditional comforter and have the money to splurge, I'd recommend this comforter.

Sizing and feel could be better

The comforter size does not match what’s posted in the details. It’s 4-5 inches wider, therefore it doesn’t fit a standard full/queen duvet. I called and spoke to customer service but the lady said it is purposefully bigger to give a more full appearance, and that the measurements online needed to be updated. That makes no sense to me because this comforter is thin (not puffy like down) so all the extra fabric did was create a big wrinkle inside the duvet. We had to shake it out inside the duvet until the extra fabric moved to one of the edges, and it’s a heavy comforter so it takes some work! I don’t want to return it because it’s the only organic all-cotton duvet insert I have found so far. It feels great so far in the summer, will have to see if it is warm enough for winter. I think with an extra blanket it should be fine. If I was going to use it without a duvet cover I’d want the shell to be softer, it’s more of a crisp feel.

Beautiful Beyond Words

I purchased a really nice comforter this past November but was finding it was too hot for these summer months. So I read the reviews on your lovely comforter and how it was perfect for this time of year...or actually any time of the year. And also of course that it was all organic. I must tell you this the most beautiful, wonderful, awesome Comforter I have ever owned in my life and I am a little over 6 Decades old. Absolutely love it. And you can tell the quality and feel (I am an Empath) that there are no chemicals in your products. So glad I found you. I have ordered other items as well. Thank you! Thank you!
