Positioned this close to the side edge/rear of my claw foot tub. It definitely assures my balance getting in and out of the tub.

The bar arrived early - way to go, Wayfair! Love it! It is exactly a pictured. The polished brass matches the brass taps on our soaker tub perfectly. Well made and sturdy. Easy to install. My hubby needs help using the tub and this grab bar fit the bill.
