I got this for the plumb dot beam to install a pivot hinge door. Worked great. I also used the level line to hang some pictures. Even though it is a red laser and others complained about it being dim, I had no issues seeing the lines in a well lit room during the day. I may need to invest in a tripod so I don't have to use random piles of stuff stacked up to put it on to get the height set.

Really easy to use right out of the box. Would it make sense to sell it with a bundle? Definitely need the tripod bundled with the laser line level

Spend the extra money if you wznt a good laser.

I've only tried to use this once at work the other day. There is something rattling around inside of it. And indoors in a large dimly lit building it wouldn't show at 90 feet. Maybe worked ok at 40 feet max. You can see the beams at further away but it was not sharp. I'm planning on returning this laser for a refund or at least a exchange. I don't trust it with something rattling around inside of it.

Absolutely amazing, Klein Tools has made another product that suits my needs, and has the features I need. Beam, is nice and bright, and plumb bob is nice and bright as well. Another thing, it is nice to finally be able to purchase other Klein tools, besides just hand tools. HD never carried this stuff, very impressed with how Lowe’s is handling the Klein tools.

Decent laser , decent price

I purchased this laser based on price and curiosity. I use the dewalt or Bosch line laser daily for work in carpentry and wanted to explore other brands. This is very similar to the dewalt in size, but have not compared over a long distance . The low battery light came on pretty quickly but it has not died yet. All and all this seems like a good home laser at a decent price

Red line lazer

If you were trying to use the laser outside. You cannot see it in the daytime. The laser is also off a quarter inch over 30 ft. Not super accurate. You cannot tilt the laser very far at all before it will not level. It needs to be straight up and down. It is very hard to pinpoint an exact location on the side of a wall with a nail or a screw. Because there is absolutely no adjustment. You just have to get the hole exactly perfect where you need to hang it. Not everyone has metal studs to use it on. Not recommended overpriced

First impression, only used once

Needed a laser for lighting and box layout. Purchased a Bosch gll40-20g laser, for the same price, because it was in stock. Returned the Bosch and waited for this one to be shipped. Seems more durable than the Bosch and comes with more mounting options. Does not project the vertical line on to the floor as well as the Bosch but makes up for it with the plumb dot, which is what I will be using it for most of the time anyway. Was hoping the laser would turn on with the pendulum locked but does not

This thing is legit. A fraction of the cost of high end lasers and really made work simple. I use it as a DIY’er and highly recommend to get level measurements in an old house.
