Makes Loud Screeching Sound
Apparently this is a common concern with this value. Currently when I turn on my water it makes a lot screeching sound. This only goes away after the water gets hot and I turn the shower off and on again... Pretty frustrating given the price of the knobs and this valve.
FIND SOMETHING ELSE
I purchased the whole system, 2 trim kits, 2 valves, the handheld and slide Plumbers bill was $960 including replacing Pex. Trim kit for diverter fell off first week sapparently there is no set screw so turning it up for on and down for off loosens it. Hard to screw back on as you have to find the place it was B4 it fell off. Temp won't stay steady so I have to keep adjusting during shower. Hand held & hose are plastic even though I was told hand held was metal (I purchased chrome). Pretty junky system for nearly $2,000.
