Nice item, well-made and well-packaged. Giving it only 3 stars because the HD description clearly states it has "easy to clean rounded corners", but that's not true at all. The corners are crisp and sharp and difficult to clean. It's not clear if the description error is due to Home Depot or Kraus. In an unrelated concern, the supplied sink drain is constructed of plastic, so I discarded it and purchased a different drain.

Great sink with tons of room

This Kraus sink is awesome now that I have it installed. It was a little bit of a bear to get the countertop clips in place and locked in, but after that, it was smooth sailing. The clips are the reason for the 4 star review. 10" depth single basin makes for a crazy amount of dish space. Easy to clean and clean in it. Highly recommend.

Cheap mounting hardware

The mounting system with this sink is crap - cheap. A beautiful sink with a single little plastic threaded inset that if it strips or breaks makes the sink useless. The mounting hardware is overall very flimsy. Don’t know who designed it but they should be fired.

The cabinet is factory made with particle board internal stiffeners that are stapled to plastic L-brackets, that are then stapled to the base cabinet itself. The staples pull out and the particle board stiffeners are fragile. I replaced one stiffener with 3/8" thick plywood and I used screws as fasteners.

Top Quality SS sink

The quality of this sink is outstanding. The sink is 16G and sturdy. No tinny sound, it is insulated on the underside. Wonderfully deep at close to 10". The drain basket is deep also.

Disappointed

Very disappointed in this sink, 400.00 sink and they use cheap plastic in in the securement brackets. Can't

Nice, solid sink!

This is a high quality, heavy sink. Dropped it in butcher block in my laundry room. Because it is so deep it was tricky to install and clamp in. Love the size and depth. Giving it 4 stars to let people know it does not drain perfectly, so needs to be dried with a cloth. But I think with any large sink this may be an issue. No regrets on this purchase! Returned 2 other sinks before sticking with this one!

Stratches and rust

We bought a similar version of this sink in July of this past year, 2023 for our kitchen remodel. In 30 years I have owned house and all types sinks this has to be the worst! It has scratches all over it, rust and grates are rusted. We live in our home, our sink is not a display but used to wash dishes for a family of five. It is beautiful to look at if you don’t use it. We did everything according to instructions. I have had stainless in other homes and this product is poorly made!

It's high maintenance!

Didn't realize how big it is and deep and the worst thing is the high maintenance! I like that you can easily clean pots but again too big and constantly cleaning and drying the sink after each use is a lot of work. Perhaps that should be mentioned on the outside of the box. It's already installed so we can't exchange it . Perhaps just make it less shiny for future people.

Nice sink for smaller spaces.

Perfect option for smaller spaces, we bought another workstation sink (from Lowes too) that had the cutting board etc. While the 1st sink was super nice, and more expensive, it was longer and deeper than this one making install more complicated for the counter-top guys. You have to account for the faucet that will be below the counter and between the cabinet and sink while keeping countertop edges a few inches all around. Glad to have bought both sinks from Lowe's online and not an online only retailer which we considered. Ordered the Kraus sink online ship to store, returned the 1st one to store no hassle. We love the sink.

Great Sink

This is my second Kraus sink and they are great. I matched this with a Kraus faucet and Garbage Disposal. The Plumber who installed them also was also impressed by them. I would highly recommend Kraus and their products to anyone. The accessories that also come with the sink are very nice as well.

Not worth the price

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this sink. The Kraus sink was to replace a porcelain sink that had lost its glaze so would stain easily. I loved the low divider feature of the Kraus, the dimensions, and the option to be either a drop in or undermount. We installed it as a drop in and the sink edge is not nearly as flush as our last sink. I feel like it makes for another unnecessary spot to clean. The sink never looks clean, the photos are from right after installing, there are always marks, spots, etc., that require serious scrubbing to remove. But never seem to be removed all the way. The product literature states polish with recommended cleaner but doesn't actually recommend one. The bottom of the sink is already scratched and we've only had it for a week. Lastly, perhaps due to the location of the drains, there is always a pool of water in the basin bottom (this was mentioned in other reviews but disregarded it). Bottom line: I'm really disappointed in this sink, it costs double that of comparable makes/models, doesn't seem durable (even though it's 16G) since it's already scratched, and requires constant cleaning/wiping to make it look halfway nice.

Horrible design/quality sink

We have had this sink for 3 months now and unfortunately are past our return window. The design is horrible. It only has a 1/8” drop, which means food gets stuck and doesn’t drain property. It is horribly scratched and I have done everything these reviews have said to do and using a 3M pad doesn’t work. It leaves horrible water marks which makes this sink look really old, even though it’s still technically new. I’ve never disliked a sink so much in my life, and I’ve had many sinks. Kraus will not refund me, nor will the retailer because it’s already been installed and we’re beyond 3 months from purchase. Don’t make the same mistake we did!

Beautiful sink

We replaced a double bowl stainless steel with this gorgeous single bowl sink. We love the space & the soap dispenser was a must. It also has the bottom grid that we really wanted. However, on the second day, one of the little rubber feet on the grid fell off into the disposal unbeknownst to us. Then of course as soon as we used the disposal & got a different sound, we realized one of the little feet were missing. Sure enough it was in the disposal. Not happy about that. So now we don’t want to use the grid but feel like we need it to protect the sink. We also don’t want to break our disposal. That is my only complaint so far. We had a plumber install it with a new Moen wire coiled faucet & it looks & functions beautifully!

Definite update to my 15 year old kitchen

I picked out this sink to update my 15 year old kitchen. I liked the fact that is is 16 gauge SS and the modern style. However, the two units iI bought both had damage from the factory: one was dented just below the drain and the second had a dent in the crease of the corner which was much less noticeable so I kept it anyway. Seems like poor quality control from factory.

Does not pull tight to countertop

I purchased your sink KHT302-33 on December 10, 2021 and installed it on December 20th. The install was to replace our current kitchen sink, and the dimensions were a perfect fit. The install is a top mount. After watching your install videos, and reading the instructions, it seemed straight forward. The problems started when we needed to tighten the integrated male mounting hardware. First problem was a couple of them were pushed up when we set the sink into the counter top and that there was no way to “pull” the mounting hardware screw down from under the sink. We had to remove it and pull them back down. This process, of course, caused smearing of the silicone sealant on sink and countertops. Next attempt went better, and we were able to start to tighten the screws. However, the integrated male mounting hardware, did not have enough threads to pull the countertop and the sink together leaving a small but very noticeable gap between the sink and the countertop, especially on the front side of the sink (attached photos). Thinking I had done something wrong, I again removed the sink to find out what the problem was, smearing more silicone sealant. I measured the depth of my counters, which are standard, and checked for warp, and there was none. The problem is most definitely your integrated male mounting hardware – they do not cinch up enough to really tighten the sink to the countertop, leaving an unsightly gap (attached photos). I do not know how to correct this problem. Is the only resolution to return this sink and start over? Preferably with the “old fashion” U-channel hardware. This seems to be a very serious design flaw and I am sure I am not the only one to have this issue. I am not a professional plumber or installer, but am a very experienced handy man for myself and others.

Very nice quality sink, heavy gauge stainless, high end look...

Very nice quality sink, heavy gauge stainless, high end look and feel. We were very pleased. A nice upgrade for our laundry room. Only complaint is that the fastener clips are designed for a thicker countertop. If you are using with a standard laminate countertop from a big box store you will need to take up the extra space to tighten. We cut small approx 1/2” thick pieces of scrap wood for this. We assumed the clips should work with a new standard countertop so it was frustrating until we realized what we needed to do to make it work.

Beautiful sink! High quality!

We installed this sink during our kitchen renovation. It is a fantastic upgrade to what we had before and we are very pleased with it. The sound dampening is very good and we really like the racks that go in the bottom to prevent damage to the sink and to allow water to drain. One thing to consider when buying this sink - we had to modify the front of the cabinet to accommodate the sink. It needs a full 9" of opening height to be installed. Our standard cabinet only had 7.5" when the false drawer fronts were removed. The face frame had to be modified and the doors had to be rebuilt with the new dimensions. This is certainly not a negative about the sink, just something to consider when buying a sink with this much depth to the bowls. Overall, a fantastic sink!
