Design flaw

I bought the KHF203-36 60/40 apron sink a few years ago now.

After 4 years, have only one issue

Great sink in all way except one. The center divider is the same height as the rest of the sink surrounds. That means it offers zero protection against sink overflow into the other side and any water landing on the divider has a good chance of running on to the floor. Make sure that this sink is not installed with ANY slope towards the front. In fact, a slight slope towards the back will help but will not provide any overflow protection. The sink should have been designed with the center divider about an eighth of an inch lower than the rest of the sink. This would have provided overflow protection and water on the center divider would not run onto the floor.

Beautiful sink; Just a few minor flaws

This sink is beautiful! And incredibly thick; no need to worry about dents in this thing. However, you do need to be careful about scratches. I noticed my skillet scratched the inside of the bowl while I was washing it, and now I'm very careful not to set any dishes on the front ledge because a scratch there would be pretty noticeable. Also, it doesn't have a great drain slope so just know you'll have to be mindful about using your faucet to direct waste towards the drain. Overall, it's been fun to use. It's HUGE and fits a lot of dishes. I like that I only have to fill up the smaller bowl to wash dishes (as opposed to one large single bowl sink), and that my sheet pans and oversized kitchen equipment can fit in the larger bowl.

The right sink for the job

I love the Kraus Farmhouse sink. I wanted a deep pan, something stainless it can take a beating for my lifestyle, from craft projects to cooking, and the bib protects my cabinets. I had a problem with damaging my cabinets in my previous condo because of my style of washing pots. I generally lean them on the ledge of the sink and scrub away. The water from the scrubbing, unfortunately, would run down the counter to the cabinet doors. But with a deep Farmhouse sink, you can get that done within the four high walls of the tub. Also, the stainless still bib should surpass the cabinets, so any excess water falls straight to the floor. I wash large pots and use the stainless steel helper for soaking everything from clothes to vegetables. The quality is top-notch, and I would recommend this purchase to a friend.

Looks Nice Only if You Don't Use It

I bought two of these sinks for our new house. One that was split and that was not. The split version is located in a huge island in the middle of a very large great room and can be seen from all corners of the house.
